I imagine this happens quite a bit actually.

Lamar Jackson was ranked 5th at his position and got drafted behind Sam Darnold and Josh Rosen.

Derek Henry was drafted #45 and taken well behind Ezekiel Elliot.

Do I need to continue posting examples of this?

Same website that Bama fans love to quote for their Mac Jones grades, will be interesting to see how they react to this one.

I guess we'll cling to our vastly superior athletic department

I just hope Smith and Waddle go to a decent team that I pull for. Not to the jets, panthers and jags.

I don’t understand the comparison. Are you saying the Heisman isn’t necessarily an indication of skill translatable to the NFL and Smith will be a bust?

- Lamar Jackson drafted behind 4 QBs (Mayfield, Darnold, Allen, Rosen)

- Derek Henry drafted in the 2nd round 40 spots behind Zeke Elliot and behind players such as Myles Jack, Noah Spence, Sterling Shepard, Kevin Dodd, Jihad Ward and Paxton Lynch.

They seem to be doing ok.

Derrick Henry wasn’t the first RB drafted in 2016. He was only a mid-second round pick. Things have turned out fine for him.

Lately all the Heisman winners have had decent NFL careers.

I have never trolled and always attempt to engage in realistic conversation.

That hurts.

I don't get the trolling of answers you already know. Heisman winners have nothing to do with NFL evaluations and draft stocks. It seems you're just trying to get rise out Alabama posters rather put a credible argument.

NFL teams draft by need and scheme not necessarily by production in college.

I'm saying I don't care. Once they're off the team and drafted they aren't really important to me anymore. The lone exception is Derrick Henry because a fellow fan of yours loves to be wrong about him on the More Sports Board.

good chance Waddle or Smith end up on the Eagles,Lions, or Giants. Still terrible teams

That's a great list of playmakers.

With the NFL Combine being cancelled, they only have one shot with Pro Days to make up for a poor 40 or another drill.

I wonder what teams will miss on players because of a lack of evaluations, like colleges probably did with no camps.
