Now you’re comparing Smith to Jerry Rice?
Never change, Gumps.

Trevon Diggs definitely knows he is a Tiger.

Waddle is the most explosive player in the draft, but he can't pick apart a DB like Smith can. It would be a mistake to pick him before Devonta IMO.
Waddle's biggest knock is obviously going to be his size and I guess how healthy he is come draft day and whether he is able to show that same explosiveness post-injury. IMO he's a very comparable prospect to Ruggs last year: lightening fast, ridiculous athleticism, but undersized. Ruggs shocked pretty much everyone when he was the first WR off the board.
Honestly, when you're talking about the top receivers in most drafts, you're splitting hairs as to who is a better prospect, and, at the end of the day, it will really just come down to which team needs a WR and who they personally think fits what they want to do best. None of the three (Waddle, Smith, Chase) would be a bad pick for any team that picks them.

He does quit better than any of those others.

Charlie Ward won the Heisman and wasn't even selected in the NFL draft. Same with Jason White. Winning the Heisman has really nothing to do with what kind of prospect you are for the NFL.

He might slip because of his size

And? Ultimately this game for the players is about getting themselves to the draft and setting up their families for generations. If a player has nothing left to prove at the college level, I have no issue with this.
They’re not playing for some boomer gump waving his pom Pom around in his living room.
Meh, I'm an LSU fan, not a fan of __________(insert player who plays for my school). If they want to make a decision to quit, they're more than welcome to do it. It's their lives. That doesn't mean I can't take issue with it as a fan of their team and the sport of college football, nor does it mean I can't take issue with the fact that those decisions to quit adversely affect the team I root for. Guys skipping seasons or large chunks of them is terrible for the sport of college football. I don't think that's even arguable. I couldn't really care less about how much they get paid after they leave nor do I have a rooting interest for any NFL team. I'm an LSU fan. I'm allowed to be selfish in that regard.

Why did you not mention Josh Allen? He’s playing this weekend.

DeVonta Smith is the best of the three. He's humble and has the work ethic it takes to be great.
The LSU guy will dye his hair purple or blue and be chasing strippers. Or other dudes like Odell. While Smith is watching film.

I mean this is exactly why Smitty came back a year... People doubt his size
It is what it is.
I don’t think he’s changed as all since last year. He was a damn good WR last year. His size put him below other guys in last years draft

As are the players. I can certainly understand and relate to the frustration as a fan, but as a fan of LSU, I know the next great one is right behind him so I don’t spend much time thinking about a guy that makes a decision that’s in the best interest of his family. Especially when we as fans aren’t privy to all of the information.

Oh, you mean like LF who is playing for a NFC Title this weekend? Or Andrew Whitworth? How about SB Champion TM? Yea, lots of LSU cancer in the NFL.
Forgot about Devin White also.
