Ha! How many guys here now what a “feeder driver” is? I’m one of them. I can tell you from my UPS days that whenever we wanted to find out what the rank and file was plotting, we could always count on a feeder drive to spill the beans.

Shouldn’t be a surprise. Tua will be a Heisman candidate. Good luck to Jalen and frick him for the only TD scores year before last against LSU.

But seriously, he has handled this well.

Saban needs to "process" Hurts and use that schollie on a real kicker.

Put in a plug for UTSA, we need Frank Wilson's resume to get better since we'll be looking for a coach in 0.8 years.

TCU or Houston wouldn’t be a bad fit.

He’ll stick with Bama I’d bet

I’m confused, Gary Danielson said Jalen Hurts was Cam 2.0. How would he not be in the pros? He was supposed to be a Heisman. So, in one half of play, he is now shite. Somebody roll the tape on all that dumb shite we have to hear about Bama from Danielson.

If he wants a chance at a pro career he's better off converting to running back, because he is not going to make it as a quarterback in the pros.

From a selfish view I hope #2 sticks and works hard to get better. Every teams needs a solid backup QB. See FSU results in 2017 for details.

Danieldson got it wrong, but no one gets them all right, so no biggy really.

Last year LSU came up with the game-plan to stopping Hurt's, and once his shortcomings were exposed, it was only a mater of time, if Hurt's didn't grow. Bama/Kiffin using Bo's/Cam Robinson killer running game (end of last year, after LSU game) prolong the inevitable, but once Bo got hurt in title game, we all got a preview of a Hurt's lead offense against solid defenses (A bunch of 3 & outs against solid defenses) Hurt's shined against average D, and made the occasional running play on 3rd down against OK D, but Hurt's inability to hit passes (Especially on 3 & 6 or more) allowed defenses to play within a 20 yard-box against Bama. Play-calling didn't help either, but when your playbook shrinks so much, that doesn't make defenses play honest.

Hurts playoffs
Semi's
- Should blown Washington out, only 24-7
- Should've blown out Clemson, only 21-6
Championship game
1st title game
- Bo doing it up, gets hurts, Bama offense stalls
2nd title game
- 1/2 of Championship game
Bama has 3 and outs

Tua playoffs
- 1/2 of Championship game
- Comes in, defense has to play whole field again
- Bama's offense scores against solid D

To be fair, we'll see how Tua does once more game-film comes out. It did take until the LSU game to figure out Hurt's weaknesses, but with the little I've seen of Tua, Tua's ability to make solid-quick decisions, his willingness to throw to receiver somewhat covered, and his ability to make defenses play the whole field, will serve him well. Hurt's is a great kid, and I wish him well, but he's got to get better at the throwing part of the game. If Hurt's ever makes defenses play the whole field, Hurt's would be the whole package and maybe more. Players, coaches, etc find out what they are against good completion, that's when you find out if you've got the goods. No one is immune to this, no one...

Just what in the hell could the "rank and file" at UPS be plotting about?

You don't "process" a player with the character and leadership abilities of a kid like Hurts...you find a productive place for him...good coaches realize this.

plus, it's not gonna help jalen or tua if we swap oc's every year. i dont think anyone expected daboll to be a qb whisperer. unless saban can find one of those that can run an effective offense, then keep daboll if you can.
