OU scored on Every possession after the first Qtr. they were not stopped after Kyler settled in. UGA in 2017 was even worse they got torched.

But you do realize the 1st qtr counts, right? It's 25% of the game.

You scored 14 pts the entire 2nd half. Basically the exact opposite.

Look I know you are a rational poster. But how do you keep pushing this narrative when the point of my post is that SEC defenses such as Alabama and UGA have given up the most points and yards to Oklahoma regardless of the outcome of the game. Nobody scored as much on either defense or put up more yards than OU. So under that premise how can you tout SEC defenses vs Elite big 12 offenses? Texas further proved this.

The reality is yes, BIG XII offenses can score on elite SEC defenses and Oklahoma absolutely has proven that.

It is also reality that Oklahoma's defense has been a embarrassing shitshow for the last 7 years under horrible leadership. Both are true.

Anybody arguing SEC defenses will "shut down" great offenses is silly. Great offenses in 2018/2019 do not get shut down by anyone.

My argument is that the better SEC defenses, Alabama specifically, performed better against those offenses than anyone else did. And we did not have an elite defense this year. Good, but definitely not elite.

I dont think our 2011 defense would shut down the 2018 Oklahoma offense or those like it. It's too versatile and good. It's impossible to shut down

He is an ok college qb, but he does not have the arm talent to do what Kyler Murray did there at Oklahoma. He can not fit passes into tight little windows up and down the field. He will lose starting job to another QB on the roster or Rattler once he gets settled.

you can win a lot of games scrambling and throwing junk passes in the box to wide open receivers when you have a stellar defense. I dont hate the kid i just dont feel he has that much arm talent, or true accuracy. teams figured that out and thats why last year they started loading the box on him because he didnt have the arm to push them out of it. Just sayin'....arm talent is not there

You mean the NC state team that had half their team sitting out of the bowl game?

The UGA defense played an average game. The offense and the special teams were as bad as any game this season.

You don't know what you're talking about. Jalen has improved his passing greatly. He's a better thrower than Sam Ehlinger, who threw for 3200YRDS 25TD 5INT.

I think I’d take issue with “all”.
