Mark it down. Jalen will be staying and finishing at Alabama.
Tua starter
Jalen middle reliever and setup man
Mac the closer
Think about it. Jalen's got it great right now. No pressure. He only comes in when we're up by 3 TDs. We preserve Tua who is usually out by middle of 2nd Quarter. Mac gets invaluable experience in the late 3rd and whole 4th quarter.
Win/win/win for Bama and fricked/fricked/fricked for SEC.
Discuss. Btw, this will get downvoted a lot. Not because it's a bad idea but a lot of you don't like it because he won't be coming to your school.

Next year Mac backs up Tua and Jalen only plays in 4 games and redshirts.

He isn't staying. His dad thinks he is an NFL QB and thinks Big Time schools will be lining up with offers after the season. He is delusional. He might be able to sign with SMU, TCU, or Houston. Otherwise it will be a step down from that.

How many other SEC Programs would he start at this year? Vandy? Kentucky? Maybe Florida? The list is pretty small. He can't throw the football down the field with any accuracy. Too one dimensional.

Jalen has a 67% completion percentage this season. His dad may be correct. A Jalen that can read a defense and throw the ball would scare me as a DC.

The guy can run as good as anyone, make good decisions, make easy passes, and avoid turnovers. Downfield accuracy just ain't that important in the right college system. He would absolutely kill in the Big 12

Jalen would start for most teams yet he is our backup guy. He has become a better passer thanks mostly to Dan Enos being the QB coach AND having Tua around giving him a kick in the arse. Why would I NOT want him to stay at Alabama? Just confused that you would ask this.
