At some point you will play someone with a pulse on defense and this analysis will go out the window.

Does Georgia have a good defense? Asking for a friend.

Just confused that you would ask this

You literally made a thread celebrating that the older backup QB is not going to transfer. Probably the first time anyone has posted a thread like this.

quote:

Jalen would start for most teams yet he is our backup guy. He has become a better passer thanks mostly to Dan Enos being the QB coach AND having Tua around giving him a kick in the arse.

If Hurts keeps improving, I'd transfer if I were him.

He'd start at about 10 SEC schools.

Goddamn he'd be perfect for LSU.

It's not a big deal since you're a Tigers fan, so I don't expect it but do you watch any Bama games at all besides when we play first weekend of November?

Yes they do and I am pretty sure you have not played them yet this year. Correct me if I am wrong.

So, they're going to shut Tua down, do you think?

Then there will be Big 12 schools lining up for him at the end of the season right?

Big 12, ACC, the rest of the SEC, Big 10, Pac 12. Yeah.

Not going to happen unless it is Indiana, Illinois, Wake Forest, Syracuse, etc.

Jalen is one dimensional. Load the box and his stats become embarrassing. It amazes me how many people refuse to admit this. Stevie Wonder knows how to stop Jalen Hurts at this point.

He's not an NFL qb, but plenty of guys have flourished in college with the same limitations.

Blake Sims won SEC offensive player of the year as a qb, and he was literally a runningback with zero arm talent

ColoBama doesn't want to admit it for sure.

Blake had a very good long ball. Hurts can't hit a receiver in stride if his life depended on it.

Shut him down? Not sure. Slow him down? Probably so. I don’t think Alabama will be playing their 3rd string QB that game.

Not downvoting, but your logic sucks as far as benefit to Jalen goes. He's got the athletic potential to play in the NFL, just not as QB. He needs to do something other than finish out his college career as a backup quarterback, even if it's with Bama.
