He will be able to support Kerryon when he accepts his Heisman trophy. So happy for Jalen!

Good lord that would be sad. He's a great runner and an okay passer. Could get invited as a Heisman candidate playing QB position.

He is certainly the most critical. If we beat Auburn, he will have to make it happen

Maybe he gets an invite, but I really don't see him as the best player in the country. Lamar Jackson is having a great season despite not getting a world of publicity ....statistically better than last year. Baker Mayfield has been ballin' at OU

I don't think he will get to NY - good game yes.

If it came down to Hurts and Mayfield, I hope Hurts beats him by one vote and Mayfield's lips quiver for all of ESPN to see.

He's got <2000 yards and <15 TDs. Not only are those not Heisman numbers, but those aren't even 3rd Team SEC #s. I know his running ability makes up a lot for that, but sub 20 pass attempts a game aren't going to do it no matter how efficient you are.

It's not all about the stats. He is the leader of the best team in college football (assuming we beat AU & UGA)....Bama is riding him to the playoffs without him.

Unless Baker Mayfield sticks his dick in somebody's ear this Saturday he has already won the Heisman Trophy. Better luck next season.

What about guys like Malik Rosier who are on top ranked teams as well and have better stats than Hurts.

You'de be setting a pretty bad precedent inviting Hurts with his stats over others. The other P5 conferences would so pissed
