He's not a heisman contender but the disrespect this guy gets is aggravating. He has improv d so much and at this time is playing better than any QB in the sec.

Unless Baker Mayfield sticks his dick in somebody's ear this Saturday he has already won the Heisman Trophy
So odds are about even?

It's not all about the stats. He is the leader of the best team in college football (assuming we beat AU & UGA)....

I don't remember McElroy getting an invite

He is certainly the most critical. If we beat Auburn, he will have to make it happen

This is true. His importance is similar to Nick Marshall's.

Either that, or his poor play gets him pulled and catapults Tua into the Heisman conversation for next season.

Let's be real - good defenses make Jalen look like a scrub

Best football player in the country award, not best teammate.

Pathetic that our own fans don't appreciate him, and we wonder why we get ragged on by other fanbases

Fully deserves it. Isn’t he the winningest QB in the history of Bama football?

What I don't understand is why the QB is off limits for criticism. If a DB is getting beat it's a resounding "BENCH HIM" even if the guy is projected to be drafted in the top 3 rounds. Same with an Olineman.

However, when we have a QB with zero future in the NFL (as a QB), we're supposed to act like he's a fricking savior? I don't get it. We've still yet to win a natty with him, and the offense doesn't look any more potent this year than last year. Our offense sucked in the postseason last year, and whether Jalen can take us the distance remains to be seen.

Personally, I don't think this team can win it all with our impotent offense.
I think Tua could do it because he makes our offense explosive and exciting, but Jalen...idk

He’s still got a way to go to catch Barker and AJ in wins

Hes open to criticism just like anyone else but this incessant whining and agenda to rag on him constantly. Unproductive offense? Dude get a clue. Yet to win a title with him? I didn't realize JT Barrett was our QB, JH has been here less than 2 yrs. Someone mentioned it awhile back, it's like JH stole some of our fans wives or girlfriends. He has improved regardless of the ignorance or bias that some people who call themselves Bama fans have towards him. If it's personal be a man and say it's personal because the shite has gotten petty.

How much further? Serious question, he’s started as a freshman, will probably not declare early, at this rate he’s got to one day be the winningest right?
