Let Fireman be, life is hard enough for the mentally impaired.

Between he and Mr. Jones, I'd say Whitfield is looking for a couple of escapees.

To his point, I don’t think she or the kids will exactly want to hear all the shite talked about Mullen.
Doesn't make sense unless you're actually upset that he left and want him back

Why do people shite talk after a win?

The way he left Henry, we’ve gone over this already ad nauseum. He didn’t give a shite about the Egg Bowl, and continued to jab the university once he was already gone.

You’re making a truly asinine argument. All Mullen cared about was the Egg Bowl. He didn’t give a shite about the LAST one because he was in talks with Tennessee and Florida days before. That’s a shitty way to leave a program that supported him for 9 years. And yes Moorhead will care. Every coach will care cause they are coaching for their jobs. It’s evident Mullen wasn’t because he was leaving. Why are acting as if you’re an expert on MSU fan perception?

His record through 2000 was 67-48 basically the same as Mullen’s record.
2001-2003 really tarnished his overall record but all State fans appreciate what Coach Sherrill. His success in the 90’s gave our fan base the confidence that we could compete and win in the SEC. He created the expectation that helped lead to the success we had under CDM. So I am glad he will be back. He was a great coach and his personality was a perfect fit for us in the 90’s. Great sense of humor but the guy knew how to coach.

I agree with you that 9-11 was the beginning of the end of the JS era. I have no doubt we would have beat BYU on September 15th when the game was originally scheduled.
But then everything got cancelled and our next game against USCe was Thursday, September 20th, the first game played after 911. We had a 17 day lay off and the team was flat as a pancake and lost 14-7 and from there the season went S.
Fast forward to December and the BYU game that was the WORST officiated game I have ever witnessed in my life. My wife who is not a big football fan was booing like crazy.
Their OL mauled our DL/LB the whole night and got called for holding ONCE in the fourth quarter. Pathetic. To this day it is the only game that I will say that State lost because of the offiating.

Some one told me not too long ago that Megan's parents still live in Starkville.

Coach Sherrill is always going to be a favorite of mine. I always wondered what he could have done at better universities than MSU or A&M?
