These are both incredible backs, but this kind of reminds me of E. Smith vs. B. Sanders.
E. Smith put up the best numbers because he was in a better offense, but pretty clear which guy is better.
No disrespect to Gibbs. I think he is even better in the NFL and runs more physical in the NFL than he ever did in college, but Bijan...my gosh. Go ahead and make space for him in Canton.

Bijan won me a championship last year with that 90+ yard run against the Rams. Will forever be one of my favorite players.

I am going to get a lot of hate for this but here it goes. Gibbs reminds me of Alvin Kamara. He is a very good back but not great. Robinson is more explosive than both and has the potential to be a hall of famer. Something that Gibbs and Kamara will never be.

One of my friends played o line in the NFL for many years. We have talked about the Barry vs Emmitt thing often. This is how he explained it. Barry was the better runner. Emmitt was the better rb.

Yes, Tom Herman thought having 8 mountainous OL that couldn't move their feet would take care of 3 NFL RB.

Bijan's skillset is truly generational. If you just watch him play after play for a full game you quickly realize he possesses a skillset that nobody else in football has. His combination of lateral quickness, vision, balance and power is flat out beautiful to watch in action. He's put up monster numbers and big plays on a team without a functioning passing game for 3+ years now.
Gibbs is fantastic, too, but I wouldn't take him over Bijan. His misuse by BoB in college should have been punishable by firing squad.

I wish the Falcons could somehow lock him down longterm, but that organization is so disfunctional I'm not sure they fully appreciate how good he really is. I'm afraid he's going to realize that his talent is wasted in Atlanta, if he hasn't already. We could actually make the playoffs with him despite having the most laughable quarterback situation in NFL history.
