You don’t know that ‘the future of Alabama basketball will suffer.’ You’re just a hopeful Barner. I do know that next Wednesday night, Alabama basketball will smoke the Barn in Coleman Coliseum.

You’d have to assume he kept it somewhere on campus. You need proof that Miller knew a gun was placed in his vehicle while on campus.

We are not talking about police. I'm speaking as a Alabama alumnus.

Miller's gun.

Miller is a freshman. Lives on campus unless they found a reason to exempt him.

Good thing he's in jail.

Jail has jack shite to do with it. This is University policy.

Had this been my son (enrolled) they would have come down on him.

Holy shite. Are you drunk?

The gun didn't belong to Miller. It is legally owned by Darius Miles.

So it's Miles gun?

Then what's all the issue about?

Miller is better at shooty hoops than Miles and is the reason Alabama is ranked #2.

Any ordinary student at any ordinary University would have been called before a disciplinary panel over what the Bama players did, regardless of being charged with a crime, and would have been expelled

Probably true as true gets but most schools probably step in to prevent such in most minor cases to prevent harassment of student athletes

You actually thought it was Miller's gun, or are you playing with the idiots on this board?

I think this had to do more with Miles than Miller. Could be completely wrong about that as well.

All freshmen are required to live on campus.

The only exceptions:

We expect all full-time freshman students live on campus, unless they meet at least one of the following criteria for exemption:

- Live within 60 miles of UA with lineal relatives (parent, grandparent) or legal guardian
- Live in Tuscaloosa property owned by a parent (proof of ownership required)
- Married and/or have dependent children in residence

*except for student-athletes and the children of wealthy boosters.

Are you dense? It was Miles gun. Miller gave him a ride to the club. Miles placed the gun in the back seat. Miller went to eat while Miles was at the club. Miller heads back to pick Miles up from the club. Miles gives gun to shooter and he shoots. It is very possible the gun, while in the car was never on campus with Miller.

The Strip is no more on UA campus than TigerLand is to LSU.
