I just don't think most bama fans realize how lucky they are to have nick saban. He's not gonna be there forever enjoy this while he's there, because nowhere to go but down after he's gone.
He's the best, but Bama has 4 of the 7 coaches in SEC history with 80+ winning % (6 years or more). Those tenures have covered 67 of the last 95 years. From that it would appear that they would have a good shot at getting a successful coach in the future.

Having spent a good deal of time there myself I agree with much of your assessment.
I find Greenville, a wanna be offshoot of some of the New England snobby little towns that are infested with John Kerry types from other places who ruin it for the locals.
While all teams have fans like you described the Clemson gang is running on insecurity and a desperate need to be relevant. They are so fearful their current success will end soon they are grabbing every opportunity to be arrogant, earned or not, they can.

I live in Greenville....don't get what you are saying about Greenville being infested with John Kerry types. It is one of the most Republican metros in this country.

Not sure how Alabama fans can call other fans arrogant. Literally all you guys do is brag about how many titles Alabama has.

And Clemson fans wouldn't if they had as many titles?

Mississippi and Texas had a baby....a very low IQ baby.....and an ugly baby....and that baby is named South Carolina. Serious question....is there a stick built home in South Carolina? South Carolina people have exactly what they deserve...South Carolina. The only state with a worse inferiority complex is Texas. Has anyone not from South Carolina ever been to Columbia or Auburn with a lake and not immediately thought about a hot shower and a bar of soap? As soon as you cross the Savannah heading east you are struck nearly blind with the malaise that is South Carolina.....and the people who have been there more than a year or so are permantly diseased by it. People from New Jersey vacation and retire in South Carolina....that’s all that needs saying. It’s New Jersey with heat. And some of its good I guess.

Clemson and Auburn don't look similar.

I would say the major metros in SC are more happening than the those in the state of GA outside of ATL. Charleston is a a bigger version of Savannah for example.

Some would...mostly the sidewalk fans who treat college teams like a pro sport team.

but would they then call other fans arrogant...i tend to doubt that. lol

i remember immediately after Clemson beat Bama for a natty, Bama fans began to say Clemson wouldn't be back to playoffs and Bama would.

Just the fact Bama thinks they a lock for playoffs out of SEC is arrogant.

If Mississippi and Alabama had a baby it would be Georgia. The best way to piss of someone from ga is to make better peach cobbler or pecan pie without trying and prove it to them.

I agree it is a bit of an insult to compare the loveliest village on the plains with Clem’s son.

Charleston May be bigger than Savannah....and about 3 times shittier. Seriously Charleston is New Orleans with all the backed up sewage, ugly arse architecture, horrible
humans and none of the charm. At least the canucks that settled in New Orleans had the intestinal fortitude to make the trip. Those with a weak constitution got to Charleston and say frick it...this is far enough. Major metro areas....in South Carolina ......BAHAHAAAAA....I guess Florence and Anderson are pretty impressive if you are from Clemson. Hell Columbia ain’t even a real city....like Montgomery it’s just a string of exits on the interstate.

And that baby would be devastatingly handsome, a star pupil, a stellar athlete and a great source of pride and comfort to its parents.

That is a pretty good comeback though for someone from Baja Oklahoma......
