If a ranked Bama playing at night can't bring in anywhere near a full crowd, put it somewhere that draws more people or at least to another park not resembling the late 80's...

Or just make it more interesting than baseball.

I don't get why it has to be neutral. Take it to the home stadium of one of the strong teams/best facilities on a rotating basis. Hell, have them bid for it.

MWC baseball tournament is here in Vegas this week, they didn't have to move it to St. George or something to make it neutral and hard to get to for everyone.

Why does EVERY thread about baseball have to have at least one "It's baseball, who cares?" post?

I don't see why it can't be in Frisco.

I'm with you.
I will never understand why the SEC is hell-bent on choosing a singular locale for an event--for decades at a time.

It may simply be that historically, they haven't had many options.

Because Mark Richt lost control of the baseball threads. It just is what it is. Concentrate on the part after that.

I bet this gets discussed every year. Hoover's ballpark looks a little meh. Where would a better spot be? New Orleans(frick LSU)? Atlanta? Houston(best ballpark but least central)?

That would appeal to us yankees.

Baseball is pretty close to hockey in the whole retribution thing, they should probably embrace that.

Hell, they use metal bats, let's get some fights going to make it even more exciting.
