*Only a 15 min drive or so from the Hoover Met.
*One of the premier minor leagur parks in America.
*Located in downtown Birmingham unlike a subdivision in Hoover.
*only negative I can really see is parking

There's a parking deck nearby

Would they be fan friendly?
What is their policy for the outfield crowd folks?

Love Regions Park, but the lack of parking kills it for the SEC tourney.

I'd like to see it rotate around the southeast, but the SEC is lazy. The Met is such a dump

That's absurd. The SEC is one of the few conferences that has as many schools even care about college baseball, there is no reason they should be having their tournament in the crappiest park. Especially considering not that many people even attend most of the games.

It needs to rotate. Nearly every team is invited every year. Rotate it and allow fans to make trips they otherwise wouldn't take. Send it east, and send it west. Nobody in Bama gives a shite about baseball.

I'd rather them play it at Trustmark in Jackson or AutoZone in Memphis.

Sounds like you preferred it when they did the divisions and played at 2 parks?

False.

But I agree with this.

They should let the RVs park on that railroad park nearby imho.

Parks that should be in a rotation and are all better than the Met
off the top of my head
Autozone in Memphis, TN
Zephyr Field in Metarie, LA
Regions Park in Birmingham, AL
First Tennessee Park in Nashville, TN (when completed)
Coolray Field in Gwinnett, GA

Trustmark looks like the Hoover Met..

Zephyr Field is in a terrible location.

still better than the Met and I'd rather be a short drive from New Orleans than the suburbs of Birmingham

Just keep it away from Montgomery. Baseball games make it impossible to do anything downtown.
