Monday’s suck. If it was on a Saturday, people could cook, grill, have friends over, spend the afternoon drinking and getting ready for the game. On a Monday, you have to get home from work, and then it’s basically almost time for the game. Plus you have to get up the next morning

The NFL, tv networks, advertising monies/ratings. Do you really think football fans in N.Y. Chicago, L.A. Philly, etc etc care a rat's arse about LSU playing Clemson? Do I like it, no. But it is not difficult to understand. Money talks, every where all the time.
