No but maybe you should pour a few bucks into it. Or basketball. You won not one SEC game in football. We advanced in both men and women’s basketball to the sweet sixteen not to mention an individual National Title in golf and advanced to the World Series for softball. But you just stick to baseball. And repeat that we “sunk” our money in football. The results say differently moron.

They just keep investing all that money into baseball and not the actual money maker sports

State makes money on baseball as does OM.

I think lsu, Arkansas, MSU, OM are the only programs that turn a profit

Good hire, Miss State!

Florida falling farther and farther behind the arms race war thanks to your former AD, Scott Stricklin.

My God, look at the OM fans in here desperately seeking attention in the thread about MSU hiring a great HC.

Pathetic.

“you are still the only SEC program without an indoor football practice facility and a very aged basketball arena.”

Actually a football only facility is on its way now.
And basketball just had a nice renovation done. There was no need to build a new coliseum when the seating bowl of the existing one was as good as it gets. Just have much nicer amenities now.

So all is well and good at State.

Now you guys need to leave Coach Bianco alone now. For 25 years all he has done is win and win. Plus he is a class act and one of the good guys in the sport of college baseball.
And good luck to you guys tonight. Pulling for both you and USM to win and host a SR.

You know it was a good move when you get a Henry meltdown like this.

Why do you ole miss retards do this on every State thread?

Go back to nafoom. State will be fine. Yall sports bros act like a few years is ancient history and lose your minds if things go awry for a few dozen months. All homers with sports obsession do this and it's lame. Newsflash: you'll be in the shite ditch of suckage at some point again, book it, and you act like it's ancient history since we had a winning season and sent you home with an L in any sport that's not baseball (you're our backseat bitch in that sport).

Our coach died and we had no AD to make a hire because our old one who refused to attend to NIL had left and it snowballed from there. He also went and hired a baseball coach from Indi-fricking-ana after promising a championship caliber coach and said coach won a title with a dugout full of studs recruited by others and who won in spite of him and then drove the program into the ditch. It's a testament to State's staying power that we even made a postseason at all.

We will be fine — far more fine than NCAA sports as a whole, but what does this have to do with our new coach again? You're in a fight for the bottom and too retarded to see it, and yall do this time after time after time. You just listed a bunch of milestones (some that we've already gotten a taste of), and no trophies. Big deal. Nobody cares on this thread.

Next you'll move on to telling everyone about how much better the poverty stricken hellscape of Lafayette county is over the poverty stricken hellscape of Oktibbeha county: as if anybody gives a shite, or that it matters on who's the biggest midget, especially on a thread about State hiring an actual championship coach. Go away little bro.

Big time hire. Assumed it wasn’t realistic at first, thrilled to be wrong.

Virginia’s entire team just hit the portal too and he had some talent on that roster, curious to see who ends up in Starkville.

Agreed, we should pour all of our money into football like Ole Miss to miss the playoffs as well.

Have to say.. our multiple trips to the Taxslayer Bowl was a looooot more cost efficient.

That probably has more to do with having 3 head coaches in less than 3 years.
