Miami 2003 team had six first rounders and lost two games. It happens
Since that's the comparison you chose to make, I'll take it that you agree that the decline is real then. Seeing as how Miami has had exactly ONE 10 win season since 2003.
Nice to know some of the a1abana fans here have accepted reality.

Alabama's 2010 team ALSO had four first rounders on it and lost THREE games. We know what happened the next year

I too am a bit wistful watching the great Saban blindly stumble his way here at the tail end of his career while guys like O and Dabo run circles around him. It's always tough to see that guy who won't get off the stage.

I know digging up the past is a1abana's thing, but this thread is about the current state of the declining a1abana program.
Stay on topic.

With the way we're continuing to recruit, I'm sure we'll be fine going forward.
Oh. I'm sure you aren't concerned at all.

This shite gets real old. And I'm an LSU fan.

Notice that all four were on offense. I assume you watched at least one Bama game this year, so you're well aware our problems were not on that side of the ball.
Give him a break, LSU fans are new at this football thing. They only discovered it 20 years ago.

Nobody makes you read it.

That's always the 1st response from folks like you but I do come in here to enjoy some good threads and folks like you keep popping up with childish comments. I won't comment on it again. Folks like you will continue

You should go into comedy.
You had better hope that Alabama's program is declining because if this was just a lull before the storm, LSU and the rest of the SEC is screwed. For reference, let us look at Alabama 69 and 70 when the same thing was being said. How many years was it before LSU beat Alabama again? Was it 11 or 12?
LSU finally beats Alabama last year after what 8-9 years? I guess you are right, if LSU can beat Alabama, then the Alabama program is in decline.

LSU was okay back before I was born too. Fortunately, LSU has had its best years when it has mattered most to me as a fan. The best part is having watched my favorite program have the greatest season of all time just within the past past 8 months.

You don't seem to be enjoying them.

Imagine your best team ever needing a team to commit a unforced fumble on the 5 yard line and needing a blown call on a TD to beat them by 5, that team also having lost like half of their fall camp starters to injury and having a QB that barely got to practice because he was recovering from surgery. Goat

At best, another weak attempt at tossing
chump bait...at worst, just another desperate,
insecure, member of the WillieT Club for the Bama

Pay attention. I know it's still front and center in your head, but this thread isn't about LSU dick stomping a1abana in their house. This thread is about Saban's new found inability to coach his loaded team and the inevitable decline it brings. FOUR first rounders and didn't even sniff the conference championship. Let alone playoffs.
