Only one team has done it, Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

It's just hard to beat the Vols twice.

And I'm not saying UT will make the finals, all the teams in Omaha are good teams...But Y'all better hope they don't.

Because it's hard to beat the Vols 2 out of 3.

LSU did it last year in Omaha. And it wasn't hard. One of our middle relief guys shut them out.

That was 2 out of 2 IIRC.

Let me know when you teleport last year's teams to this year's tourney.

You guys just can't stop living in the past. I'm talking about current teams, of which LSU is not a part (as you suck).

My main concern is we like to lose coming out the gate which is hard to recover from in Omaha. Anyone know the historical % of teams that lose first game that make it to championship?

I like this team but they could lose to any other team in the CWS

Vols ability to pickup on the starting pitcher quick is what makes me think they will make it deep. UNC is good, but they seem to do damage later in the game. Tennesse puts you behind so quick, the margin for error in the later innings so slim.

Evansville did beat them and if you fall in losers bracket it’s not an easy task to do what lsu did.

I do think Tenn is the favorite and there is not any team close to what Fla and wake were last year to get in their way

Tenn can hit all the home runs they want but that doesn’t always work in Omaha and it’s not like they have Skenes set up to throw two games

I bet they wish they had burns for this tourney

Well LSU isn’t in Omaha this year now are they?

Y’all beat Tennessee 4 times last year of the 5 games played. Y’all needed Skenes for 2 of those wins. In all your wins you didn’t score more than 6 runs. In the game you did score more than 6, you lost 14-7. If you didn’t have Skenes last year, LSU wouldn’t have won the title.

It's also hard for Tennessee to win 2 in Omaha.

Something has to give.

No shite.

If Tennessee didn’t have Dollander in 22, they wouldn’t have won the CWS either

How is this a win for your argument in any way?

"Yeah, you wouldn't have won it all if you didn't have one of your really good players!"

Nate is a good pitcher. Not an embarrassment to be shutout by him.
