It’s a shame that a rural, public school that doesn’t pull players from anywhere has a once in a lifetime team, and basically has little to no chance to overcome an LCA team from a school created to recruit and have great football teams. No one says that they will even meet, but it’s really unfortunate, imo.
Without the split Sumner wouldn’t even have to consider facing LCA. There is always someone in the way. Champs find a way thru them.

Holly has the career record. Ford broke the single season rushing record previously held by Cedric Skinner
He signed that late because he wasn’t eligible until the summer. He was a grade risk and needed the summer to get eligible for a 4 year school.

Tioga doesn’t have a high powered offense. The one good defeat they played they scored 13 points.

Arkansas won 4 games, Auburn 3, MSU was 30 years ago and won 3 games. It’s not like they upset contenders.

Actually they aren’t top 5 era.
It’s 2.8 at Tenn and 1.67 at the CWS. Pretty good jump….
