After Kiffin flames out and gets fired mid-season in one of the next few years, Coach O will take over and be able to get a few more games as HC at LSU.

It is a brilliant move. When Kiffin takes his annual mid-season break to go on a bender and chase an ex or a 19 year old coed, Coach O can step up to steer the ship. Sure, he might still run aground, but at least someone will be driving.
