that would be horrible you wouldn't see the other teams for 10 years.
bye bye permanent cross division games. hsv will have to suck extra dick for tickets to the once every 4 years iron bowl.

By my count you would play the other teams every 5 years, but I'm not good at rithmetic.

Move Vandy and Tennessee to the West and move Bama and Auburn to the East. Bama could still have Tennessee as their permanent West opponnent and still play AU every year.
I like this, but Bama would lose their game with LSU..

You are insinuating au alumni could care less about continuing to play the Iron Bowl?

2 perm teams and then the other 5 one by one it would take 10 years finish it off, you would be going home and home so each team takes 2 years to rotate off the schedule.

No, he is insinuating that the AU alumni hate Alabama for ritualistically beating their asses into the ground for 50 years so much that they would resort to petty tactics, like moving divisions just to take away our rivalry game with Tenn, than keep the Iron Bowl intact the way it has been since before the turn of the LAST century.

the easiest way to do this is add a east team or throw someone new like mizzou into the east even though it makes no sense.
or we could move both auburn and bama and then just move vandy

It's just a game, kind of like it was just two trees.

I meant just rotate the other five teams once a year. So LSU could play Bama and Florida from the East every year, then the third game might be Georgia. The next year the third game could be Kentucky and so on.
But it would take 10 years between road trips to the rotating schools, which does suck.

I think the iron bowl needs another break but am obviously in the minority. Nama fans would rather keep the iron bowl and third sat in oct than the LSU game. I am not so sure alSU fans would mnd so much either to be honest.

In that scenario you lose the ut uf game. there really is no good way to go about this.
There is if people were capable of thinking outside the box. The solution is incredibly simple. Missouri simply joins as an SEC East team and nothing really changes. Apparently it's more important to accomodate a brand new conference member than preserving 90+ of conference tradition.

It was only two trees? I seriously thought it was four, what the hell is all the fuss about.

That game doesn't have anything on the UT/Bama game. One rivarly has been played over 90 times and the other started in the 90's.
