re: You ever accidentally tried to accidentally enter the wrong vehicle?

Yep. Walked out of the convenience store on auto-pilot and climbed in the drivers seat. I quickly realized that the truck was much dirtier and had a slightly different center console.

re: What's the OTs thoughts/experiences with putting life on hold for elder care?

I have been doing this for my almost 90 year old father for the better pay of the last 2 years since he had a stroke. I am lucky enough to have 3 other siblings and we all rotate our time staying with him.
I also have CNAs that stay with him during the day.
In the beginning he was still mobile and it wasn't so hard. As he loses mobility he gets more depressed and or mad. Because of the dementia and the stroke, his memory is not very good and so that creates all kinds of challenges. Like when we sold his car because he couldn't drive it anymore and he was mad for a long time because his car was gone.
I pray I never put my children through the same.

Call the prosecutor's office and ask if they will allow you to take a defensive driving course depleted down. You can do an online defensive driving course and as long as you can print a certificate to show you've completed it, it counts

If a nursing home is going to cost you $8,000 a month, I'm assuming she needs memory Care which is tough. We have looked at that route and it is very expensive but I can't believe they said Medicaid won't work with her income. I'm not sure where you live, but most nursing homes have people that specialize in getting the money from Medicaid so you may want to talk to another home.
I'm in a similar situation with my father for the last 2 years. I'm lucky enough to have three other siblings that help me with him at night and we have hired sitters to come during the day for 10 hours. It takes all of his income, social security and retirement to cover the sitters and then the rest comes out of savings.

If you have temporary access to what you're trying to cast, you can probably make a sand mold.

I just replaced my 3 wood and added a 7 wood with the Callaway Elyte X and love the distance and accuracy I am getting from them. My only complaint is the 7 has a draw bias that I am still ajusting.

One of my oldest friends bragged about how he and his wife had an open marriage. I told him that was going to mean that she is getting some on the side and he is not. Divorced within 5 years and I think she left him for her side piece.
