Would they have won a NC? Who knows maybe maybe not. But they would probably be winning 10 games a year pretty regularly .

Well they should start winning 10 games a year about now.

What else could Texas and A&M need to produce a National Championship.

Or just a conference championship?

Or just a west SEC championship?

No excuses for them now.

Never wanted Herman, kissing his players would not work in La.
Would’ve been happy with Jimbo but I was a little concerned with how he left Fla St...they were and still are a mess
Was ok with O...willing to give him several years before I would have lost faith...going to take a lot longer to lose faith now...couldn’t be more excited with the direction of the program

95 Nebraska is probably the best team ever, but 2019 LSU does have the best resume ever

I give 2019 LSU the edge over 1971 Nebraska in that ranking. But it's really hard to judge these things due to the extra number of games LSU got due to the SECCG and the playoffs. It's like 3 extra games, and all ranked. Without those 3 extra ranked games, then it's about even.

Yet you can't really ignore that it's 3 extra good wins. Wouldn't be fair to LSU. Since 1971 Nebraskas claim is basically based on the number of good teams they beat, I put 2019 LSU over them.

But I still put 95 Nebraska over the edge in that category because I feel MoV is a big factor as it shows a team that is elite on both sides of the ball and that matters for resume.

And I don't really give a frick about 2001 Miami since some people like to mention them. # of players drafted is not a relevant stat to college football. Especially when they were barely beating teams and they didn't have a great SoS either. Over-hyped and over-rated.

You act like Texas A&M was ever regularly winning anything

Or Texas even.

I think It’s clear Texas has some issues that maybe aren’t football related. Also that team was really bad when Herman took over

What was their average margin of victory over the 4 ranked teams they played again? Didn't you say it was 25 points?

Let's be honest. We all know what happened.

Does anybody really believe Nebraska would score on today’s defenses? LSU and Bama in 2011 would have shut that shite down.

Honestly I thinknits Pretty obvious they both would have more success at LSU then they are having at Texas or Texas A&M

I agree with this somewhat. I think Jimbo could have been a steady hand who could have potentially guided us to a title with Burrow, like O. I’m not sold on Herman yet.

I think last season showed LSU’s strength as a program, and a brand. Texas am needs a Saban/Urban type to elevate their program. Jimbo ain’t it
