Boy did we dodge two huge bullets there. Ed O just led us to the GOAT season and will likely be 4-1 vs Herman and Jimbo after this season. Never been so happy to be so wrong about a coaching search

After Orgeron went 6-2 in the interim period I wanted him.
Didn't know if he'd be any good but I figured at least with change there was a chance.
I didnt care for Herman or Jimbo and definitely didnt want Gary Patterson who was a name some threw around.

Honestly I thinknits Pretty obvious they both would have more success at LSU then they are having at Texas or Texas A&M

It was a much better program when Les left than Texas or A&M were.
Would they have won a NC? Who knows maybe maybe not. But they would probably be winning 10 games a year pretty regularly .

Especially if it's coming off an undefeated season and national championship the year prior like Nebraska in 94.
It requires a team that is elite on both sides of the ball, which is something Alabama has yet to accomplish.

craigbiggio I told the LSU fans you do not want Jimbo Fisher an at a price of 7 million a season it would be a waste of money.
Herman priced himself out of the market, Texas way over paid.
Texas should have pushed for Saban and paid him 10-11 million a year and never looked back, also let him run the show; but we know that would never happen.

95 Nebraska is probably the best team ever, but 2019 LSU does have the best resume ever
