The endless social media having him as a top player, or top heisman odds, when against average to above average teams this year, he is 6 for 12 with 39 yards, averaging 3.3 yards per attempt, with a QBR of 21.0 and 14 rushes for 26 yards, averaging 1.8 yards per carry, and a couple fumbles. Many instances when he thought he could run, and Georgia defenses showed him just how faster they are than 1A teams like Country Day. Those are his stats vs non-atrocious teams.
Arch played 1 sole team in high school that wasn't 1A full of 5'6" 135 lb white kids. That was U High on LSU campus, a program that usually sends 1 kid to LSU a year. Verse U High, he went 8 for 21 with 96 yards, 4.5 yards per attempt, 19 rushes for 42 yards, 2.2 yards per carry. U High is a really good program, but those bad of stats are not made up for in difference of talent between the two teams.
I am telling you, bet the under on Texas win total. It is free money. Bookmark this post. It's at 9.5 and pays +180 under. @ Ohio St and @ UGA are no question losses. They will lose @ Florida, and drop another along the way. 8-4 is my opinion, again with another easy SEC schedule. At least they play Ohio St to make up for that.
I just do not like how bad Arch was against medium to good competition, his other stats were vs UTSA, ULM, Colorado St, 2-10 Mississippi St (0-8 in SEC play). This kid is a fraud. I wouldn't have a problem with him if he didn't receive the attention. It's the attention from media that bothers me.
Kid needs a haircut. I don't think he makes it on a starting NFL roster for more than 2 years, so he will have to get a corporate job, and no Fortune 500 company boss would hire him with this haircut. It' d be an instant cut.

This kid is a fraud. He has proven he isn't that good.
They can't both be true at once. He has either played enough to prove himself untalented, or he hasn't.
FYI - I think he will be an outstanding player. I am not going out on much of a limb. His last name is "Manning".

I'll go the other way on you.
It is more likely posters on here will be questioning what in the entire hell was Sark thinking last year.
There's your easy bet.

I’ve got no guarantees on how it will go. Kid could get hurt for the season on the first play vs. OSU.
But with that said, I’m sure hoping Arch stays healthy and torches aggy in Austin next season… nothing wrong with some hope to go along with all the hype we are going to see…
All the opposing fans who are prematurely downgrading Arch here are also hoping… hoping that Arch will not instead play like his Manning uncles. You can bet that much of football America will be watching next season just to see…

People overlook how significant Arch's advantage over almost every other prospect has been. He has had top level QB coaching since birth. He's actually a very good athlete, not surprising given his father and grandfather.
He's in a good system surrounded by an expensive roster of top talent. I don't see a scenario in which he isn't at least "good."

I’m sure Arch will rack up stats but choke on the big stage just like all 3 of the Mannings did in their SEC careers. Family genes.
Texas is also known for their choke jobs so this is a match made in heaven.
