True...
But in all honesty, Oklahoma is talking about themselves but you can’t hear it with their heads shoved up Texas’ arse...
Find a doctor, borrow their stethoscope and listen to Longhorns...you’ll hear Okie praising themselves...

They are in for a serious fricking wake up call when OU sits at the top with Bama every season.
Bama doesn't drop a game annually to the likes of K-State or some of the pre-Matt Campbell unranked Iowa State squads. That is the one thing I wonder about . . OU usually starts slow and trips itself up but then gets the machine humming towards year. Because they played in the Big 12, they were always able to climb out of that hole. Can they do the same in the SEC?

Despite success against us on the field recently, OU still rides our coattails athletically. And we give them jobs, so, in life as well.

Little they are talked about? These guys genuinely think they are gonna come in here and be in the bottom half of the league lol. They are in for a serious fricking wake up call when OU sits at the top with Bama every season. 70 years of blue blood winning with only 8 down years isn’t going to change. Riley has built this program for the sec over the past 3 years. So much so I wouldn’t doubt he didn’t know about this move when he was hired. There was a clear change in player recruiting in 2018.

That’s pretty sad then, cause all I’ve seen is 1-3 vs top tier SEC teams the past 4 years. Enjoy the cellar.

This. It's really not that complicated. SEC's best has been better than OU. SEC's best has more difference makers than OU has had. OU will compete just fine and win more than they lose. Being in the SEC, maybe OU can sign more difference makers and make better showings against the best of the conference. I look forward to it.

Will be fun to see how Oklahoma does, they trip up annually on some pretty trash teams in the Big 12, so fun to see if they are a 7-5 behemoth going forward or if they can figure it out.
Trying to throw some data at how SOS has matched up historically...this is for 1998-2017 (so it is a bit dated). Here are how the SEC (Pending) teams rank.
4. Florida
5. Auburn
7. Alabama
10. Oklahoma
11. LSU
12. USCe
14. Arkansas
15. aTm
18. UT
20. UGA
23. Texas
33. Ole Miss
34. MSU
36. Vandy
41. MIZZOU
42. UK
Sagarin SOS Rankings
I think Texas is in for more of a shock than Oklahoma.

Texas just has that way of triggering people easier

Most folks understand non-conference games are scheduled many years in advance. No one will be impressed by Nebraska, but it's a historical matchup. OU's non-conference includes:
2021 Nebraska
2022 @ Nebraska
2023 Georgia
2024 @ Tennessee
2025 Michigan
2026 @ Michigan
2027 LSU

2030 @ Nebraska

2032 Alabama

2035 @ Clemson
2036 Clemson

OU is a good team, but not toxic.
Texas brings nothing but toxicity to the conference.
OU and VA Tech or UNC would be better market wise as well as lack of conference-destroying attitudes

Oklahoma has a way better stadium. Hardly no sidelines. The fans are right on top of you..gets really intimidating. Can’t wait to go there again.
Did you visit in 2002? I work near the campus. When we heard about the $1M RVs rolling into the Lloyd Noble Center parking lot 4 days before the game, we had to go check it out. Man that was one of the coolest experiences I've ever had with an opposing fanbase. We walked around for a couple hours talking with you guys, day-drinking. Zero shite-talking on either side, mutual respect and we were just happy to have y'all here. That was good times.
