What is a blue blood? Winning 60 years ago when no one threw the forward pass?

LSU, Florida, Georgia, and Alabama all have more national titles than Ohio State in the last 20 years - are you really telling me your program is a blue blood and you have less national titles than Florida in any given time frame - let alone 2 decades lmao

LSU has a top 7-10 football program of all time, and a top 1-3 baseball program of all time.

More national titles this century than anybody not named Bama, and whooped your arse in 07. Crawl back to your hole.

Nonsense, when you play in a NY6 bowl or playoff every season then you are bound to be 500 or below.

Since 1970

Ohio State has 2 NC in football
Florida has 3 NC in football

by the way, the SEC won 3 NC in football during the 90's
5 NC during the 00's

A blueblood is someone who has been great for over a hundred years. Alabama is one. The other 2...

I still stand by what I said.

Pitino and Calipari are proven cheaters and the only coaches with a national title and multiple final fours vacated. I'm not sure I would want to hang my hat on them.

Shut the Fukc up. In the last 50 years Ohio State has won two national championships. In the last 20 years LSU has won three, including waxing your tragically slow asses and sending you back holding your dicks and wiping your tears.

In the last 20 years the SEC has won 14 National championships . The Big 10 has won one. In a dick measuring contest your conference has a micro dick.

Of course you do. Because you can’t make a good argument for the B1G being more success than the SEC in *checks notes* any major sport without some weird exclusionary criteria in your little peanut brain.

That's exactly what it is. Bluebloods are the schools that won when the sport was just gaining popularity; they built the sport into what it is today.

UConn has won 5 basketball titles since 2000. That's absolutely incredible. They aren't a blueblood.

The schools you mentioned have won many championships recently. But sans Alabama, they are new money.

Why has your team underperformed, nationally, when compared to UGA/UF/LSU over the last 50+ years?

Even with its lack of tournament success lately, the B1G is a superior basketball league to the SEC. This isn't even debatable.

Must be synonymous with holding onto the past. Congrats on success 60 years ago when the game had 170 lb offensive linemen.

Should it be commemorated and respected? Yeah it helped build the game — but sorry I’m not taking any program seriously who hasn’t won multiple championships in the last 40 years. You can call yourself a “blue blood” but so can Navy by that definition. Just like I wouldn’t say Yale and Harvard and Army are powerhouses today bc they won championships and built the sport years ago.

But all those programs have MORE championships than Ohio State in the modern era — the most competitive timeline in the history of this sport and Florida - FLORIDA has more titles than Ohio State in the modern era lmao. What a powerhouse indeed.

Rather be new money than no money now but can talk about how I had money 50 years ago.

Just like the SEC is superior to the B1G in football. Your powerhouse BIG program has 1 national title in the last 20 years.

Florida has sucked for the last decade and still has more natties than you in the last 20 years. Georgia has more. LSU has more. You’re tied with Auburn at 1 lol. This is only an argument a child could keep defending lmao

Doesn't Ohio state have a losing against everyone in the SEC except for Vandy, Arkansas and Kentucky? In fact Ohio State has never beat Tennessee, Florida, Kentucky, South Carolina and Auburn. Ohio State is also 2-12 all time in bowls against the SEC.

OSU Suckeyes
