Georgia lost to Bama in the 2017 Natty on a freak play that was a one in a thousand shot. I don’t remember anyone wearing red and black whining about injuries or the refs. Georgia sucked it up and got better.
UGA is 1-4 against Bama since that game, so you were not listening.

I am done with talking about the CFPCG.
Congrats to UGA, but do not count on winning it this year. Alabama will win it, as usual.
Write it down
Enjoy the season everybody....

There are some Bama fans on here that actually have a high football IQ. You are NOT one of them.
So, losing those WRs, how exactly did that cause those Bama DBs to not be able to cover Bowers and Mitchell on those two 4th quarter TDs?
And that beautiful pass by BY right into the hands of Ringo....that had NOTHING to do with your WR. Julio Jones could have been playing WR and that pass would have been picked.
Those injuries and UGAs injuries were a wash at best. You got beat by a better team. Many Bama fans have come to grips with this and have let their ball sack drop and admitted it. Why don't you?

At least child admit UGA was damn lucky to have Alabama missing their starting WRs. Those injuries were why UGA won as it would not have been close in the 4th.
It is OK, Alabama has been lucky in past games as well, and we have admitted to it. The 2017 title game was one.
ETA- yeah, I know I said I was done, but the UGA fans are so sensitive.
I am done now, but I am sure the UGA fanes are not. Any guesses to how many pages they run this thread to?

Bama was lucky to even be in the game. Take note; Bama was lucky to beat UF, Auburn and LSU that season, three teams that ended up with a LOSING record. All of those teams took them to the wire and had them beat and Bama was at full strength, with Metchie and Williams playing.
UGA, meanwhile, destroyed every team they played in the regular season, including two of those teams (Auburn, UF) even WITH our injuries throughout the season.
Again, its the difference in a championship program and has-been program. UGA sustained injuries and kept rolling. And even when we DID lose in the SECCG, we had injuries, but you didn't hear UGA fans whining and making excuses, like Bama fans.

do not know about that. I do know that UGA could not cover Alabama's starting WRs in the SECCG and could barely cover their replacements in the CFPCG.
We never got to see bama without Bryce, will, and Jameson. I am sure it would have been a shite show Y’all were proven to not have backups ready to go like uga did.

It's funny how ou and tx fans have been posting here for years.... and aren't even playing an SEC schedule until 2024.

Are you sure?

You think that UGA made a "schematic error in the SECC, and corrected it" if they were losing in the 4th?
A depleted uga team corrected defensive mistakes that led to an explosive Q in game 1. Those gaps were closed in the other 7 quarters, 3 of which came
In game 1.
Imagine how bad it would have been if UGA weren’t reduced to using backups all over the place.

Yep. Unlike bama, We had the refs to whine about.

The UGA “fanes”?? Who are they? Not familiar with the fanes.
As for being sensitive, the Georgia fans are not the ones still whining and bitching a year and a half after their team got their arse whipped by a better team.
Suck it up Bama. You lost and you are still whining like a 3 year whose lollipop was taken away. Grow up. You had a nice run but it’s over. Act like men not like spoiled brats.

Both of Bama's starting corners being out certainly helped.

Georgia is back to back national champions. Bama didn’t even win the West. That NC game we are discussing was in Kirby’s second season at UGA. Lots of progress has been made since then. It must really hurt to have dominated college football for long and now not even be able to win the West or beat A&M in 21. Wow! Imagine that! A&M! A&M??? How the mighty have fallen!!! The decline has been gradual but it’s a decline especially since last season was basically a train wreck.
It must be humbling to see your program struggling with the UFs and AUs - teams that Georgia blasted. It must really sting that its becoming obvious to everyone not wearing crimson and white that Kirby was responsible for much of Sabans success. And now he has built a better program just across the state line. Kirby is young with many years ahead of him and old GrandPaw Saban is not. No wonder y’all whine and bitch. It’s a real bummer.

So no, UGA was not the best team in 2021
This makes sense. Alabama whipped up on Georgia when they were healthy and nearly beat them with a depleted roster.

And yet they were able to regroup after 15 players went to the NFL, go undefeated, make the playoffs and win another Natty 65-7. And along the way yank out THE osu’s heart. Sounds dang good to me. Georgia was the best team in 21 and 22 and we have the trophies to prove it. Come back and we can talk again after y’all actually do something. Winning the “big” 10 against that prissy Michigan wannabee that UGA destroyed and even TCU beat would be a good place to start

Sounds like luck to me. Dodged Alabama in the SECCG and got to play TCU in the title game who had no chance after that nig win over Michigan.
