No, they were not. I believe that the Alabama team had some injuries.
14-1 uga > 13-2 bama
You also seem to believe that the uga team did not have some injuries.

Ohio State's 3rd string QB was better than the starter. That's why the starter was a wr the next year.
We call that "depth".
Bama used to have a lot of it. They didn't make excuses for injuries back then.
They don't seem to have it as much in the last few years. Now the excuses are never ending.
Bama loves to talk about the SEC championship game as evidence that they'd have won the NC with all their players. They seem to forget UGA had a walk on starting at Safety in the SECCG, instead of a 4-star multi-year starter who picked off Bryce Young in the national championship game.
Is that talked about? Nope... because UGA doesn't have to make excuses. But if you want to play in the land of "what if", it is something to consider. Or having another all american safety who was out for the season for both games. Or missing a starting OL. Or the WR corps being decimated to the point that both starters were 3-star freshman recruits.
It wasn't a bigger deal for Bama because the players were starters. It was a bigger deal because the backups weren't up to the task for Bama, and they were for UGA.

There was a difference in those injuries for the two teams. Alabama had proven that UGA could not cover their starting WRs in the SECCG. With those starting WRs Alabama wins the CFP game going away, without those starting WRs it leveled the playing field to the point that the two teams were equal. Even with that handicap, Alabama had the lead and the ball with less than 9 minutes to go in the 4th.
Congrats to UGA for winning the game. Alabama should have had more depth at WR (or the ones they had should have practiced catching the ball more)
Like the Gator fan said, injuries are part of the game. Alabama has lost a few games (two to Ole Miss, two to Texas AM, Clemson, three to Auburn, etc.) and we have not said a word about injuries, refs, weather, etc..

Alabama fans point out one game were truthfully the injuries brought Alabama down to make the game a toss-up. Most of the time we do not say much about anything except congratulate the other team.

Yep and y’all beat Texas without their 4 year starter All American QB in 09. Funny how we don’t hear Bama fans talk about that game lol.
Their injures influenced the game.

but in reality the vast majority of y’all are morons.
I would be a bigger moron if I said injuries are just an excuse.

Once again....Championship teams have championship depth.
You didn't need depth as you were the healthiest you had been all year while Bama was decimated.

You're discussing a different topic. Depth isn't the topic. It is the difference in injuries between the two teams.

If you're referring to Ringo he played the entire game.

He’s referring to Chris Smith, smith being hurt (he did play a little) meant we started William Poole at the star position vs Bama in the SECC, Poole was picked on all night. Dan Jackson (a walkon) spent much of the night playing Smiths safety position.

It’s depth. Like how you had Tua to take over for Jalen Hurts and win a championship in 2017.
Or an experienced back up in Hurts to come in when Tua got hurt in the 2018 SEC Championship game. It’s called depth. If you had depth at Receiver, you would’ve beaten Georgia. But you didn’t. So here we are 2 years later listening to Tide fans talk about injuries. There are Super Bowl champions who have their best players out every year but it apparently doesn’t apply to Alabama lmao. It’s unreal how narrow minded you retards are.
I swear all Tide fans are fricking retards. They can’t even grasp the concept of it working for them but not working against them.

This is exactly why no one takes Alabama fans seriously. The name of the game is depth. That’s why there are 5-7 teams competing for championships every year you fricking moron. Only a select group of schools can recruit to the astronomical levels you need to have the depth to complete a season. The fact you’re an Alabama fan and saban has become the premier coach in the sport doing this exact practice and you can’t recognize it speaks volumes about your football acumen as a whole.
What’s hilarious is Bama has lost numerous all Americans in multiple championship years and sitll won championships. Their idiotic fans are too busy clapping their hands and yelling roll tide to realize their depth in that situation was good enough to replace their all Americans with solid back ups lmao. It’s incredible hearing these morons talk about injuries haha

Smith was in on the 2nd series and played the rest of the way.

Lol. I have no dog in this fight. I hate UGA.
Anyone bitching about injuries doesn’t understand the game. These are giant humans throwing themselves into each other lmao. It’s like trying to explain to a child but you’re too busy clapping at “duh receivers caught duh ball roll tide!” There are Super Bowl champions with their best players out and they still win lmao. But yeah injuries and depth aren’t related lol
Bama fans are the most moronic people I’ve ever encountered.

I understand not having your best players if they are injured.

Then let's take a simple brief vocabulary quiz to see how we compare.

Tell it to the Pats when they won a Super Bowl with the greatest pass catching tight end of all time in Gronk on the sideline.
Tell it to Florida when we had Percy Harvin (easily best playmaker out) and still beat Bama for the SEC championship on route to a national title.
Tell it to your own squad. Y’all lost Landon Dickerson in 2020. The best offensive linemen in the nation let alone your team. Yet, we don’t hear about that injury do we? Lmao. Funny how that works when you have elite depth and win games despite injuries. It’s like tide fans don’t even understand the correlation between depth and injuries when they aren’t busy losing games to make excuses. This is like talking to a child lmao.
