Using your formula, Michigan would beat Georgia because Michigan beat Ohio State by more.

Remember this, when it came to the conclusion of the Peach Bowl, Georgia did nothing to beat Ohio State, you won because of a botched kick. Two years in a row that luck was on your side.

Even the dark Goff years weren’t that bad. A lot of teams would kill to have had Goffs record

Despite UGA hanging 50 on LSU the Tigers were a better team than UT

Didn't Tennessee beat LSU?

Hey dude…nobody cares about an arbitrary title you've assigned to yourselves. The Ivy Leagues built college football. UGA was playing football 2 years removed from Oklahoma being a university. Relax.

UT got lucky. Their luck ran out at UGA and - hold on for this - at S Carolina! UT has always been built on hope and hype and not much else

And being Georgia's toughest opponent varifies what I have been saying about their schedule.

Once again since you seem a bit slow. UT was not Georgias toughest opponent. UT was built up by the media to be something they weren’t. Our game with them was hyped to the stratosphere, but once the game started it was obvious UT was a pretender. Georgia exposed them on national tv and they whined about the rain, crowd noise and long grass. Oh well. Next year will definitely be their year. It always is. Lol

We had luck but we had something even more important. A champions heart. A will to win and the talent to do so. Despite playing a subpar game Georgia got it done. And was it ever sweet! And right at the stroke of midnight too. Happy New Year!!! Indeed, it was

No, they were not. I believe that the Alabama team had some injuries.

It’s not. Injuries are a bullshite excuse. Ohio State beat Bama with a 3rd string QB in 2014. We beat Bama in 08 without Percy Harvin on route to winning a championship. The Pats won a Super Bowl with Gronk on the sideline.

Injuries are a part of the game. It’s a sport where giant humans are hurling themselves into one another at 20 MPH. The best teams have depth. Georgia outplayed all of the shared opponents Bama played against in 2021. Bama barely beat Auburn, Florida, and Arkansas in 2021. Georgia smoked all of them.

Arguing Bama was better bc their players got hurt is weak and anyone who knows this sport understands that. Injuries are a part of the game. Get elite depth or get fricked.

No, they aren't unless you think missing starters doesn't influence the game.

Ohio State's 3rd string QB was better than the starter. That's why the starter was a wr the next year.

The top of the Big 10 is a great place to watch a football game in huge crowds in football weather. It’s a place where you can build up your team to “greatest of all times” status. But then the BCS national championship, followed by the playoffs came about. They may compete, as they should, but when it gets down to nut cutting time, they can’t do it. Deep down they know. The elite know that when it counts, they simply will not allow the other team to celebrate beating them, while they cry in defeat.

Yep and y’all beat Texas without their 4 year starter All American QB in 09. Funny how we don’t hear Bama fans talk about that game lol. You guys have the best coach in the game and vicariously believe you know something about football, but in reality the vast majority of y’all are morons.

Go watch the NFL. The highest version of this game. Every Super Bowl champion is missing key players. It’s a part of the game. Or maybe stick to playing video games you fricking child.

In the past 25 years the SEC has smoked the shite out of the B1G and established itself as the premier conference of the NCAA, top to bottom. This isn't up for debate, this is fact. Yall couldn't even beat Clemson in 2019 to get to the natty, then got your asses handed to you by Bama in the covid year after only playing what, 6 games? Because yall tried to be trailblazers and "stay at home to save lives" The Big Ten is largely irrelevant, and this is a sad attempt at a troll. Maybe try beating Michigan before you talk shite to SEC teams

Yeah...coming from somebody who has to call themselves "THE OSU"?

From a conference where their school is the 1st (if only) name mentioned?

It’s THE osu. Their ego is out of control and their insistence that the word “THE” be placed in front of their name is as ridiculous as it’s silly.

Look guy, UGA outscored Ohio St 18-3 in the 4th quarter. Quit acting like this game was that close and it was just a 'botched kick' that saved us. You keep harping on this, but it just makes you look even dumber than everyone on here already thinks you are. And everyone already thinks you're, well, no offense, but everyone already knows you have...issues. Just trying to help you out here.

Once again....Championship teams have championship depth. UGA had injuries too when we beat Bama for the NC and when we beat Ohio st. But championship teams keep on winning instead of sitting around whining and making excuses when we lose. I can't believe I'm actually on the side of Gator fan in this argument...watch out airplanes, pigs are probably flying today!

Here are the last 10 distinct football programs to win a national championship.

Georgia
Alabama
LSU
Clemson
Ohio State
Florida State
Auburn
Florida
Texas
USC

In case you missed it, that's five SEC teams (half the list), one team who's about to join the SEC (Texas) and two who desperately are hoping to get a SEC invite (Clemson and FSU).

The SEC is also adding OU (Program who's 12th on the list) and has Tennessee (13th on the list).

The conference with the widest spread of teams winning football championships is the SEC. The SEC has the least coattail riders of any conference because they have the highest number of teams winning titles of any conference. People always wanted to say "it's just Bama"... even without Bama the SEC is ahead of any other conference in football. Even without Bama and UGA they're ahead. You have to take LSU out too for the SEC to drop to the level of the next best conference.
