I think you guys are still a year away, but it wouldn't surprise me to see a worst to first turnaround like Auburn in 2013

Using that logic, it'll either be us, MSU or a team from the East this year. The last time any of those things happened was in 2008. I think several SEC-W teams have won with a new QB in that time.

That's good. But to be on the upswing means you have had to suck recently too. Not so good.

LSU fans who are old enough to remember the DiNardo years or Bama fans who can remember TBS (Time Before Saban) can probably confirm that sometimes you to have to hit rock bottom before you start improving. With any luck our visit to rock bottom is done, but yeah, I won't deny the John L. Smith year and Bert's first year trying to triage the program were painful.

I kind of thought some of you feel this way, but figured it would be one of those things that you get called out on at the end of the season and everyone says something along the lines of "we never thought we would win it all. We just thought we'd continue to improve and win 9 or 10 games." and asking for links.
