Branson isn't a River you retard.

It's a tourist trap for Southern Illiterates in Blues states like yourself. They make a fortune off you fat simps, especially on those turkey legs.

Fun fact- There are more species of fish in the Cahaba River alone than in the entire state of California! Plus the lilies are blooming!!

The chattahoochee ends in Atlanta and becomes a sewer south of town.

As to your question, Hank Jr and Alabama answer it definitively in the link below.

The Tennessee River actually flows from Knoxville and ends in Kentucky at the Ohio.

Even their rivers are smart enough to know its better in Kentucky.

The Chattahoochee, now that's a real river.

Stop posting stupid comments on SEC Rant! There is a place in OT for retard comments like this on.

Finally someone acknowledges the greatness of the Buffalo.

We've traveled all over the country. My son (10) has seen 33 of the 50 states, and all but 1 (Fla) we traveled by car/truck. He's dipped his toes in two oceans, the great lakes, Tahoe, and more lakes and rivers than we can count (including the Tennessee River). A couple of years ago, when he was 8, we asked him, "Where do you want to visit on our trip this summer?", without hesitation, he said, "Arkansas."

North Central Arky is a gem. I guess I'll stop talking about it now.

Remember when they had the Olympics in Atlanta and held kayaking events on the Ocoee River in Tennessee...yes, that's a tributary to the Tennessee river.

KY Lake.

All along the TN River and damn fine.

Grew up in Huntsville, and visited all but Ky. Lake. My God it was wonderful.

Pouring into Lake Guntersville, there was a place back up in the park that we named the rapids. I am not sure where it started, the water was COLD. We would jump in the water (life jackets and inner tubes), push our way up the water (took about 2-3 hours), and rode it down (about 45 minutes) over and around the rocks. Ah memories.

Why didn't we walk the edge? We are southern, and you just do not walk a river bank that far barefoot and in shorts. Never been bitten, and do not plan to be

were you baws fishing below the dam?

I grew up in Tuscumbia, but my granddaddy had a lake house on Wilson in Muscle Shoals I spent every waking minute of summer at. Skiing, tubing, cane pole fishing off the pier, cat fishing with jugs, etc some of my best memories of my life happened on the Tennessee. We head back for a week during the 4th every year, I can’t wait.

I'll counter with:

All Power:
Ohio -hydrologically bigger than the Mississippi @confluence

Mississippi
Tennessee
Cumberland

Beauty

Russell Fork Big Sandy
Red River
Kentucky River
Big South Fork of the Cumberland
Rockcastle
Laurel River
Levisa Fork
Tug Fork

Both
Cumberland

Everyone loves their state. That is the way it should be.

I grew up in Florence. We had a lake home off of Shoals Creek. Very familiar with the Tennessee River from Wheeler, to Wilson to Pickwick lakes. Beautiful area.

But, there are unlimited beautiful spots on rivers and creeks across the south.
