LSU= better, by a good bit.
Last year, the passing game was designed to feature Boutte, who was on preseason All American lists and was expected to be a 1st rd pick. He played himself into being taken in the 6th round. This year it's going to revolve around Nabers, and I don't see him similarly collapsing.
Offensive line is way more experienced going into this season.
I suspect the running backs will have better output; teams are going to be more aware of Daniels after he ran for 900 yds. Makes sense that the OC will design plays meant to take advantage of that.
With the new clock rules, you might not see overall numbers improve a lot. But I don't think we'll see the low points, games where it looked like you couldn't get anything but the occasional Daniels scramble to work.
I'd like a more dominant RB in the mix, but I don't think that's a key element to this offense. And certainly the position was anemic last year, so it should still improve, even if if just becomes 'average'.

Worse because of losing Bryce ad Gibbs. But not by much as he won't have dumbass BoB calling the plays.

Bama. Worse. Losing Bryce and Gibbs is a big deal.

Was coming in to say this. I think a better method would be to look at yards per play than yards per game, because the number of plays are going to go down a lot this year across the board which will cause total yards per game to decrease as well.
The way I look at it is if we finish with 50 less yards per game avg but are still 7th in the league, then we were probably about the same. There can be various factors, but some years the league is better on D, and some years better on O.

Plenty of balls my man. Just smart enough to know not to spout off!
But bet your arse Freeze and Montgomery will eclipse 378 by the 3rd quarter if not by half.
You better be prepared to put up at least 35 points a game. Aubie going to be a tough out!

It's simple
Better or worse? No one is asking anyone to "spout off"

This should be the year Nick gets its revenge against Tennessee and LSU.

Pretty shocking that there were worse offenses than us last year, we literally couldn't throw a forward pass.
I'm gonna go with slightly better.
Better coaching
Hopefully better QB

revenge against Tennessee and LSU.
Lsu is a great team that Saban respects. Kelly is also a coach he respects. Plus, the series has generally favored the away team since the 80s. I don't think that's a revenge type scenario. It was a good game and an L for Bama. I expect another close game this year.
The UTk game is different. He's dominated them in almost every way outside of a Rocky Block ending and another closer than expected game. Last year, Bama’s offense played well enough to win. The defense was putrid. And the penalties were abysmal with 17 against Bama. Add in the missed FG and dropped Gibbs' pass to extend the drive, and it was truly a game that he likely feels was given away. I don't think it's revenge either, but it certainly wears on him more than the LSU loss.

Different more so than better or worse.
Moving from a true dual threat QB to a passing QB will change reads but not greatly affect play calling.
The RB room is the best/most complete it’s been under Heupel and Small has been passed on the charts.
The WRs are deeper than they have been with 5 guys they trust. That should simultaneously spread the ball and lower individual stats a bit. Last year 5 guys had more than 30 receptions but only 2 had more than 40. And that was a product of injuries more than trust. This year I expect 5 guys over 40.
The Oline doesn’t have a sure fire 1st rounder but Javontez Spraggins will be drafted in the 1st 3 rounds (In 2022, Spraggins played 891 total snaps and only allowed two sacks. He was named SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week against Florida after playing 72 snaps without allowing a pressure.)
John Campbell (Miami transfer) also has a decent shot at being drafted. As does a healthy Cooper Mays in the late rounds.
This should be a solid offense that scores a bunch and chews up yards but will be more deliberate than last year.

Worse but might average more yards.
We will “feel” worse than Monken/Stet but will put up similar numbers.

They wouldn't give an infinitive answer but I have an answer now from Auburn

This thread is only about offense, not the whole team.

I think both LSU and A&M will be better simply because they return 80%+ of their offensive production.
I would say that both Tennessee and Alabama will be worse, for Tennessee, there is nowhere to go but down. Alabama will be more of running team in 2023 so they probably take a bit of a step back in yardage and scoring but it may be better overall for the team.

I think Weigman is going to be very good. If Jimbo gets out of the way. Stewart is an absolute stud at wr.
