Is UGA cursed?

The 1980 Georgia Bulldogs are revered in the Peach State.
However, the fact that Georgia needed a rally to eke out a one-point win over a Tennessee team that would go 5-6 and a late miracle to beat a Florida team that would go 8-4 illustrates that the 1980 Bulldogs were not a dominant champion.
UGA Underachieving seasons:
2002: Georgia finished 12-1, which in most seasons would be sufficient for an SEC team to book a place in the title game. It happened that the Dawgs went 12-1 in a year in which two major teams (Ohio State and Miami) went 12-0. (That sucked for them)
2007: Georgia went 10-2 and finished on a hot streak, which might have been enough in a jumbled season to get a ticket against an underwhelming Ohio State. But the Dawgs were jumped by LSU in the BCS rankings after the Tigers beat Tennessee in the SEC Championship.
2012: 11-1 Georgia played Alabama for the right to play an overrated Notre Dame, but came up eight yards short.

Maybe!
But I'm more interested in what will happen with Texas A&N.
Apparently the US Government is investigating their dealings with China and Russia.

My perception of UGA is they are a culture of good polite southern women and gentlemen. They get incredibly good talent for all their sports teams however the culture that surrounds the university rubs off on the athletes and they too become too nice. It really seems like UGA is the SEC program with the nicest people. Unfortunately for UGA the nice attitude seems to prevent them from winning championships.

You need to attend a Cocktail Party and you may change your tune. Don't get me wrong, Georgia has some great fans, but it isn't like something out of Gone with the Wind.

LOL. Never mind the fact that Auburn paid for Cam Newton, but how many games did Auburn pull out their arse within the las minute, and at least 2 or 3 in the last few seconds, in 2010?
