True about the OL at BAMA but its not like yeldon was some scrub 2 star recruit. He was Mr. Football in Alabama, #2 RB in the country, 5 star recruit etc.

He definitely is not a scrub, but I am holding off on crowning him Next Ingram/Richardson. I just want to see a larger body of work by him.

yeah completely agree he had a hell of a 1st game but hes going to face a tough LSU defense in baton rouge come November.

I think Yeldon's career will largely mimic Darren McFadden's. Their size and style of play are almost a mirror image.

BAMAisDIESEL09 - Exactly. I just want him to stay healthy up to the LSU game. If both Stables of RB's can do that, then it should be a showcase of Future NFL talent. (Yeldon should only get better in upcoming seasons)

Bama at every position>everyone else in the nation.
Not even a competition really. Any other opinion will be handled with accordingly.

If your just adding him to the current rosters, he would probably be red shirted at USC, Vandy, LSU and A&M at least.
Anyway, I don't know where he ranks, it's a tiny sample size, and I didn't get to see Knile Davis or any of the LSU backs. He's obviously a huge talent though.
The only SEC games I saw from start to finish were the USCe-Vandy game and Alabama's. Lattimore looked like himself at times, but I was surprised how many times he was brought down in the open field by one guy. Maybe he was a bit tentative.

To answer the OPs question, No. Lattimore, Davis, Hilliard, Blue, Lacy are all better at this point. Can't we ask the same about Todd Gurley if we're asking it about Yeldon? Gurley did about the same on less carries and had a KO return.

Jim Brown said he'd take Yeldon with the 1st overall draft pick, if he's still available. Dat Good

You haven't heard? He's the second coming of Barry Sanders, Jim Brown, Bronco Nagurski, Walter Payton, and Ezekial Sludgegulper all in one.
