Is it really a surprise to anyone that Bama had their way with Meechigan? No frickin' way that was the eighth best team in the country.

Meh, being blown out by Bama doesn't prevent you from being in the top 10 of the following poll.

If he stays healthy and keeps that burst without breaking an ankle, from what I have seen he is the best back in the country. It's hard to say he is like somebody, because I have never seen anyone like him. I don't know man, take regi bush, Trent Richardson, Devine, harvin etc. thrown them into a DNA splicer and maybe you come out with a yeldon?

The good news for us lsu fans is that he plays to our strength on defense. But if he gets to the second level, Reid won't catch him.

OP - 1 game against a Michigan team that should not have been ranked in the top 20. Would be like saying Hilliard is a top 3 back after the N.TX game....wait nvm he might be.

Well we know they we're not the 8th best team in the country but they were a legit top 25 team. I'm still amazed at he domination of the Alabama defensive regardless of where you might rank Michigans Oline.

You hear that? That's the sound of Eddie Lacy falling down the depth chart.

I can watch someone play and tell how good they are. What pisses me off is if he were at lsu, miles would only use him ever so often. He would break a twenty yard run, and we might not see him for the rest of the game.

IMO, ford is our best back, and is the most similar comparison to yeldon I can come up with on lsu's roster and almost any other. I think yeldon is better though.

Until another Bama RB meets Elvis and John Lennon, fights in a war, exposes a scandal like Watergate, owns a shrimping company, creates an icon like the smiley face, and runs across the nation, it's pretty safe to say who's the best RB Bama produced.

There was a guy that sounded a lot like the guy you're talking about, but the guy I'm thinking of played ping pong also. Different dude, I guess

I can't tell how good a player is unless hey are up against quality competition. Neither LSU nor Bama had quality competition this past Sat. Plain fact of the matter is both fan bases will have to wait to get a good read on how the RB's are stacked up.

I wish we'd use Yeldon + Fowler and sit Lacy until hes healthy.

For a freshman in game 1 I'd say he looked damn good. Not as good as say Lattimore his first game, but good.

That's not what "plain fact" means. "Plain fact" would be that they were the reigning sugar bowl champion, heisman qb candidate led, preseason top 10, winningest team of all time. See what you've posted here is an opinion, one shaped by a deep, painful level of butthurt at that.
