LSU seems to always have an outstanding crop of WR. Then they seem to always forget about them until it's time to save their asses and a WR makes a circus catch to steal a game.

If I were an LSU fan this would probably make me the maddest.

Are there new wrinkles to the offense coming?

We don't forget about them, we just usually dont have anyone to throw them the ball. When Mett was here in 2013 we had an airshow by LSU standards.

They were all inexperienced last year with a coach who wasn't even teaching fundamentals. You'll see more passing this year for sure.

Only if someone at LSU knows how to coach a QB

I mean 2 years ago we had 2 go over a 1000 yds.

One just lit the NFL on fire.

The other is likely to do the same in the next few years.

Every WR from last year returns. Our only starters last year were sophomores with minimal experience.

His name is Cam Cameron. You should probably check his résumé. I'm more worried about WR progression than QBs.

it's a valid question and a great problem to have

Jennings is extremely "meh" but has a full season under his belt, and Harris is a high ceiling talent that's had time to progress.

-massive line
-Fournette and a deep stable
-two 6'5" athletic tight ends
-big fullbacks
-5 extremely talented receivers that were all underclassmen last season

Teams will have plenty to worry about with LSU. I think our awesome receivers will get a lot more receptions no doubt....they can't get any less

We saw some in the last two games. Some handoffs to Dural, letting him use his speed to get to the outside. More options, which I'd like to get away from but it's one of the few things Jennings is good at.

The total disappearance of the TE from our offense frustrates me even more. They finally started throwing it to DeSean Smith in the bowl game, he could be a real difference maker. Cam's offense excelled with good TEs in the NFL.

Really it just comes down to the QB. Harris in his limited play time seemed to have good chemistry with Dupre.

I wouldn't bet on it. It will be enormous progress for us just to have a QB who ranks among the SEC's top 8.

Miles has been holding on to that secret playbook for a few years now. This is the year he unleashes it.

But you're not. Though, with the way you and your baconback brethren constantly chatter about LSU, it's hard to tell the difference sometimes.

Fricking Jarvis Landry always made the most amazing catches against us.

Him and Trindon Holliday loved playing against us
