Is this the first year where no FB coach is on the hot seat?

Everyone has new offers or expected to get new offers. Is this a dynasty in the making?

Could be complacency in some cases.

I could see the carousel get rolling again once Saban retires.

Yes, and they all wanted him fired last year until they blew apart a hapless Purdue team.

Beating A&M probably saved his job.

I would say that was last year... No coaches were fired last year. First time in a while thats happened.

Last year it was all new coaches and coaches with huge buyouts. Going into last year the hottest seat was probably Orgeron, and that was pretty much gone after Week 3. If anything, Gus's seat is way hotter going into this year than last year.

Conferences aren't dynasties, teams are.

Someone will frick up and bomb this season and their arse will definitely be hot.

Gus just lost 5 games, lost to Alabama, and lost to Georgia for the 4th time in the last 5 seasons - and now basketball has made the final 4 with a very good shot at winning the whole thing.

His seat couldn't be hotter if it were located in the middle of a Kilauea lava lake.

His arse was scorching last year, but no matter how you cut it, putting $42.3MM on the table at the end of '18 was tough to swallow for any Admin/Boosters/BOT. He'll still have $35.5MM (salary + buyout) remaining on that contract by the end of '19.

If Arkansas doesn't show some sign of life, Morris' seat could get hot fast. Could see Ole Miss coach in trouble if they go 3-9. Also could see Muschamp in trouble for a bad season, even if the schedule is absurdly difficult.

If Gus shits the bed again, Auburn will pay whatever just to be rid of him
