I see you’re back for more meaningless one-liners that have the board scratching their heads again.

Where do you keep this collection of neat quips?

By 8 years, are you including the 2011 season?

I would say the best all around Alabama team was probably 2012. The best defense was 2011, and the best offense is probably this year's.

2012 was nearly unstoppable with AJ McCarron at QB; he's not a bad QB, but imagine that team with Tua (for example). The defense was pretty stout (only giving up more than 17 twice, never breaking 30) and was 12th in the country in scoring despite going up against a lot of top defenses. They were #1 in scoring defense to go along with that.

That 2012 team had a 1000 yard receiver and 2 1000 yard rushers.

Not on this board. According to the Mental Midgets on this board Vandy's pick 6 and 1 yd scoring drive vs LSU = running the ball down LSU's throat.

And another thread about Alabama becomes about LSU.

The Texas A&M fan who brought up LSU's competition?

This weekend's game could challenge last year's LSU/A&M game in points. I don't see yall stopping us but unfortunately, I don't think we can stop Mond if he plays like last year.

The last four Bama teams have all been more complete than this years edition. This is probably the worst defense since 2007. A lot of factors go into that, but it is what it is.

Offensively, we’ve been great passing, but the running game has been slow to develop so far and the O-line has been struggling more than expected.

We have a s good of a shot as any other team of getting to the playoffs, but this team will have to grow really fast.

Where do I seem mad to you?

Plus, it’s better just to sit back and read the “hell no” replies.

4 to 78. You’ll get up to 10 hopefully. :mkay:

You right Bama's going steamroll every team in front of them all the way to the playoffs.

2011 and 2012 give them a good game.

You're kidding right? 2012 would beat this bama team about 42-28 or so. 2011 or 2016 (take your pick) would beat this team about 28-20 or so. Last year's team is probably 10 points better than this year's team as well.

No..no...no......no......no! Had the injury bug not have happened to the most critical positions on the defensive side of the ball, then the conversation would merit discussing.

Tricky question.
Talent-wise - definitely not.

I think this is the best offense we’ve ever had though. That has to count for something.

Our front 7 is very poor by Bama standards, due to the injuries and transfers, but our back 4 is really solid.

I’d say
Offense: 10
Defense: 7

Last year
Offense: 9
Defense: 8

2017 w Tua (w Jalen)
Offense: 9 (7)
Defense: 9

2016
Offense: 7
Defense: 10

2015
Offense: 8.5
Defense: 9

2014
Offense: 8
Defense: 8

2013
Offense: 8
Defense: 8

2012
Offense: 9
Defense: 9

2011
Offense: 8
Defense: 10
