Hunter is a very good player but it seems like the trophy was handed to him by default because he plays both ways.

First Michael Sam being lauded and held up as a great role model for children in Missouri, because he was gay, and now a bisexual player winning the Heisman. WTF?

I thought the Heisman winner was always the guy that showed up in the big games.

Did Colorado even have any big games?

Worst Heisman race in years.

No lol.

Guy was amazing at two positions even if Jeanty was better at one position, the award finally went to someone besides the best player on a top ranked team making the award relevant again, and this is the closest we'll get to a defender ever winning it again. Also, dude is a freak athlete who made the most impact for his team than anyone else on their team. He got TD's AND picks.

Colorado is ranked #23

It should be seen as an individual award, but hasn't been like that in years. It's been bastardized to "best player on a top five team"

It hasn't been relevant most years since Reggie Collier was ignored.

They way college football is going the entire sport is becoming less relevant, mostly because many are waking up to the country going to hell around them. At that point who cares about football.

It’s the term du jour, and people force it into applications that it really shouldn’t be used.

Tebow's Heisman year was a 9-4 season for Florida.

And yes Hunter is a fantastic player. People act like he shouldn't get double credit for playing offense and defense, but that is exactly what he deserves. Because, well, that's exactly what he did in an era where most would say it's impossible to do at a high level.

And you can't say he isn't elite at both. He will almost have to pick a side in the NFL and he is a potential #1 draft pick either way.

If you remove Jeanty and Hunter from their respective teams and replace them with average production, I bet BSU is a lot worse off than Colorado.

If the Heisman voters and sports professionals think he is the best, then he is the best.

The opinion of some fat, dumbass sitting behind his keyboard posting on a forum is meaningless.

Deal with it fatboy!

I felt like this was one of the least hyped Heisman races that I can remember.
