If the coaches are real coaches then he has to earn it... goes for anyone on the field... no one should be guaranteed a spot... that's how you lose games and a team

So great point, however the teams that win a p4 conference are much better than a Div II team. That is a far exaggeration to make a claim. Yes I agree some conferences are "tougher" than others. However it still doesn't diminish the fact they won a p4 conference and should get an auto bid. If they didn't you would be complaining about playing the same teams 2 or 3 times a season

I actually like the auto bid (hate me if you will) but it's an accomplishment to win your conference, even if it's weaker. If a team (say Alabama) doesn't like it, then they are free to move to one of the weaker conferences and be guaranteed to make playoffs every year.

So i dont understand this... Alabama's losses were all in conference, just 2 of them were very bad losses to bad teams that are sec teams
They are threatening to schedule even softer opponents than western Kentucky since they did not make the playoffs?
