Certainly not a UGA fan, it's not an ideal scenario for them obviously.

But credit where it's due, they have easily played the toughest schedule in the conference if not the country and aren't scared of anyone.

This is why Kirby has them in National Championship mix every year. They have elite talent, elite coaching, and they are starting to peak at exactly the right time.

Texas doesn't look great. I think Georgia will beat them again

It is far from guaranteed that UTx beats A&M.

It’s a big reward, big risk.

I almost forgot, if you win, you get the bye week back.

This match-up speaks volumes about the reality that two conference teams could possibly end up playing each other three times in the same season.

The Aggies blew their wad at Auburn so I don't expect much out them in this next game.

Playing the Shorthorns in Atlanta will be fun.

Vols would dominate them at Neyland because they wouldn't be able to keep us off guard with that tricky snap count that they used and Beck would get pressured much more something he's not very good at.

Dominated like 2023 in Neyland?

Not a nightmare but I think most fans had settled into making the top 8 for a home playoff game. Now that’s out the window so time to man up.

Believe this is close to best case scenario for UGA. Win either of the next two and get in. One is in Athens at night, the other in Atlanta. I don’t believe UGA has lost consecutive games in the state of Georgia since 2011.

My preference would obviously be to play Texas A&M, but I don’t mind playing Texas again in Atlanta with them coming off a must win on the road against a rival while UGA gets an extra day of rest.

If they win both, likely finish #2, get a bye, play winner of 7/10 in Atlanta while rested and at peak health.

If so, it's a nightmare I'd like to have every year.

Probably have to play them again some time. Might as well be in the SECCG.

That seven straight, or how many it is now, had games in Knoxville.

Yawn.

Beck is no longer slumping, no longer playing scared, and no longer suffering from a lack of self-confidence. He didn't play well against Texas, nor against any other team prior to Tennessee (Clemson an exception).

The defense has shown itself to get up for tough matchups and being a bit lackadaisical against subpar competition. The talent is there to hold most offenses to limited scoring, they just need to "get up" to do it.

I think aATm would actually be the more difficult matchup as they have a mobile qb. Texas just hasn't looked that impressive this season. They have a loaded roster but what have they shown? They got a beatdown in the one game they faced a good team. I think aTm is more tested.

Texas has benefited from the easiest schedule in the SEC this year outside of aggy. They do not look overwhelming but here they are almost guaranteed to play in Atlanta. I'm just not ready to say they can beat teams with an offense.

How is Aggie more tested?
