Serious historical perspective.

Yeah, too bad if he hadn't caught that, your guy was gonna get called for pass interference. He had Marquez North in a chokehold.

but either way, sucks to be a cock
Well it must be worse being a vololol right now considering beating us is the best thing y'all have to hang your hats on from the past half-decade.

And no, our defender did not have a chokehold on North. It was perfect defense, he extended his arm past the chest, under the neck, to try and dislodge the ball. But, obviously, North caught it one armed. It was a miracle catch.

Just think if Arkansas can somehow get competitive again. Wow.

Or if the Mississippi schools could be competitive ever.

I don't know why you're bowing both of your scrub schools lost to a MS school.

Oh okay so beating your in-state rival and winning a bowl game isn't something Bama cares about now? Got it.

Are you seriously bragging about beating Clemson? Clemson wasn't a good team this season. South Carolina's 31-17 home victory despite forcing 6 turnovers pales in comparison to Florida State's 51-14 victory at Clemson. Additionally, the Palmetto Bowl has got nothing on the Iron Bowl.

Do you want to know something Alabama accomplished? For the 6th consecutive season, they have not lost to an SEC team that was .500 or less in conference play. How many other SEC teams can make that claim? How many other SEC teams can claim that accomplishment this season?

Who said it did?

Not to South Carolina and Clemson fans. And apparently some Bama fans who have their pouty faces on saying its only "nice" to beat Auburn.

There's never been a division this strong. Bama, LSU auburn and tamu are all top 10 teams if they don't play one another. The recruiting in the SECw is ruthless.

1995 Big 8 finished the final poll with 4 teams in the top 9. They won all of their bowl games like 40 to 14 on average. The SECW has never had 4 teams finish in the top 10 nor win all of their bowl games recently - have they?

Except that Bama had a far better season. If their mentality wasn't national championship or bust, they would have won their bowl game too. It was the same thing with when they played Utah.

You can't say that a team that won the capitol one bowl had a better year than a team that was a 109 yard field goal return and what would have been overtime away from a SEC and national championship.

No but we did have 3 SECW teams ranked 1-2-3 at one point in 2011.
