Sorry that your biggest rival doesn’t consider you as their biggest. I know that must be demoralizing.

So... you're bragging that people who started in Oklahoma couldn't leave OU behind fast enough so they could be in Austin instead?
DIdn't really think that one through, did ya
You do realize that you should have some Texans out there that are better educated and more qualified to coach your football team and run your university than a bunch of Okies...
But it is evident that you don't.

(Eagerly awaiting the ...."but where does OU get all their players from?" response)

Did I mention anything about the university? The post I was commenting on mentioned the city of Austin not the university. You say you graduated from Texas but you sure as hell don’t know how to read.

I make sure to watch it every year and I’m pissed it’s at 3:30 now.
It was traditionally an afternoon game. The noon (11 AM local) time was a creation of TV networks.

Does anyone outside of the states of Texas and Oklahoma give a damn about this game? No one I know.

Dude let me be for real..I've only missed 3 of these the past 15 years or so, and every RRS there are always people attending that arent really fans of either team crossing off a bucket list item. They arent disappointed.

The only reason I can see SEC fans wanting to watch this game is to see uppity Texas get their arse kicked. Not that Oklahoma is any more popular but at least they haven’t acted like UTa since joining the SEC and this board.

Best thing aggy ever came up with.
Poor aggies

Agreed, but since aggy seems so pitiful and left out in this thread, I'll also credit them with Robert Earl Keen, Lyle Lovett, Buc-ee's, and aggy jokes...

Wait, so the horns secretly live the horns down now. Interesting
Sounds like something the sips would do. Like the whole love affair with the Sooners in their so called rivalry. Just another copium mechanism.
That must have been the reason the big 12 made a rule for doing the horns down. Because you guys love it so much.

Bama / Auburn used to play in Legion Field with a 50/50 crowd. It was fantastic. Difference between that game and the RRSO the state fair. Legion field was located in a shite part of Birmingham and the game was it.
When Bama / Auburn moved to home and home, it destroyed the game. Still intense but never was the same. Hope Texas/ OU never move game.
Never been to the RRSO but would love too.
I’ve watched that game every year on tv and yes, it is imho the biggest rivalry in college football.

quote:lol that was the weakest comeback imaginable. Again - we saw something Oklahoma had that we wanted and we took it. You should be used to that. More than half of the graduates of your reject school end up moving to Texas after graduating because they’re jealous of what they weren’t smart enough to experience themselves

I know you’re a hick that goes to some farm reject school since you couldn’t get into Texas or a&m, but try reading those first two sentences slowly. I know you can do it, pumpkin!

I thought it was always at 11:00 local because the Cotton Bowl is in a not so nice part of town.

I get it. I don't care a hot shite about Georgia's games unless we're playing. I think most people feel the same about rivalries. Army/Navy is the only one I care about outside of our 3 with ou, ags, and arkansas

So if we want to get real about this, the only SEC rivalry that I can detect is Bama/Auburn. All the rest seem like marketing matchups.

No, it was always 2:30, the reason it is never prime time is because it is in a shite part of town and the fair closes at 9.
