That shite makes me laugh any time someone brings it up. I mean, the DA really said that shite about the AC to the media like it was a valid reason not to prosecute a stolen gun and drugs.

You have obviously never heard of Appalachia or taken your head from between your sister's thighs and looked around Gumpland!

No

Better question: is Tennessee a better football state than Missouri, and based on those pictures, my answer would also be no

Tennessee gave the world Steve Spurrier. The SEC is just more fun in a world where Spurrier exists.

Memphis is Tennessee's flagship in football and they keep losing coaches to the ACC, so...

I played football in Rutherford County, TN, at a powerhouse. There are teams in Georgia, FL, Bama, and Louisiana with more talent on them than entire regions of Tennessee.

Powerhouses in TN are middle to upperclass and private schools. Meaning they out resource teams instead of out talent them.

Memphis should have supee teams but they don't have the resources.

and Johnny Majors left for a little while and, oh by the way, won a Natty at Pittsburgh

ho hum

I will say that Joe Raymond Peace took Louisiana Tech to an Independence Bowl way before anyone expected - give Louisiana credit for that one

Talking about Cam Robinson and Hootie Jones not being prosecuted for a stolen gun and drugs because they aren't in the air conditioning...
quote:

Alabama left tackle Cam Robinson and a teammate will not be prosecuted in Louisiana on gun and drug charges, for just about the damnedest reason.

quote:

According to KNOE 8 News in Monroe, Louisiana, district attorney Jerry Jones cited insufficient evidence when he said he would not prosecute Robinson and teammate Laurence “Hootie” Jones for a felony charge of illegal possession of stolen firearms and a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance, as well as a charge of illegal carrying of a weapon in the presence of narcotics.

quote:

“I want to emphasize once again that the main reason I’m doing this is that I refuse to ruin the lives of two young men who have spent their adolescence and teenage years, working and sweating, while we were all in the air conditioning.”

Can't be mad if they can get away with it, but we can sure as hell laugh at the DA for his statement.

New Orleans Saints Super Bowl in 2010? The Tennessee Titans as an expansion team made it to the Super Bowl by 1999.

One won a Super Bowl, the other did not. The one that did not was NOT an expansion team.

There's also no comparison between Tennessee HS football and Louisiana HS football. I've lived in both states. Louisiana is far better.

Just in the SEC alone, Tennessee is a fading power. LSU is a rising power.

Yea, sticking to the thread I’ll take HS football in Louisiana any day over Tennessee.

Not sticking to the thread, fishing, crawfish/food, culture.. all better in Louisiana.

Lol @ fishing in swamps being better than fishing in the most pristine rivers and lakes in the southeast.

Crawfish

Again, Louisiana has Tennessee beaten in the race to poverty. In Tennessee, we can afford real food and aren’t forced into eating mudbugs out of necessity
