Not sure about that

Les Miles at LSU was known as a top recruiter. He ain’t pulling 5 stars to Kansas

Scott Frost could’ve done well in Florida but he’s getting his arse handed to him in Nebraska

How? There's basically 4 programs hogging the elite talent then everyone else.

Les had been on the decline as a coach for a number of years before he got fired, then took two years off before being hired by Kansas. Frost's entire career as a HC prior to Nebraska was two years at UCF. Neither are even remotely comparable.

When he won at LSU only one coach had done it in 1958. 45 years before. So...

Props to Dabo but that ACC schedule tho....

At least FSU and Bowden usually had Florida and Miami as top 5-10 opponents every year.

I've got him down in my book as "slightly above average."

LSU only had one championship prior to his arrival. He brought LSU back from the dead. We wouldn’t be the same program had he never came.

Frost goes to UF or FSU they are contending in their conferences.

Much like a Mullen at State. Averages 7 wins a season, goes to UF and its dbl digits and in the hunt in the East

Different horses for different courses. Is he the best in the modern era? Well as of right now he is.

Would he have had the success that Bryant did back in the 60s and 70s? Maybe not. Its hard for folks to wrap their heads around this idea but back in the day the poll voters would walk through hell covered in gasoline to find any excuse to not award a Southern team the Natty.

It is all purely subjective. If you want to declare him the greatest thing since the invention of oral sex go for it. He is certainly the best, right now, of this era, but of all time includes too many eras and too many coaches.

Kinda like your most successful players are from somewhere else.

And yes, Coach Saban is the best. He could win at the vast majority of colleges he coached.

I included all coaches listed, incuding Joe Kines who was interim coach. That is technically correct but misleading.

So,five of the six didn't win a natty instead of seven of eight. So I guess you are right,Sabam sucks.

But all six had 10-win seasons and half of them won SEC titles.
