Mizzou, Kentucky and Arky are all flagship schools that are theoretically easier to build at.
Arky is in a state with little to any talent. State is in a lot better state.

Mississippi has more in state talent than Arkansas. Just ask the NFL.

Let me add. You can’t have key players suspended for academic fraud and have your starting QB and LB fistfight on the eve of your bowl game, in which you lay a by then familiar turd on offense and lose to a physically overmatched Louisville team. But I think most coaches can avoid those pitfalls

But you can have your star player beat the shut out of a woman on video and keep playing him...

Mullen is the only State coach to leave for a better job since Daryl Royal in 1955

Without a doubt

It is now. They will find somebody, but yeah.

They are so wrapped up in the "Mullen" years which barely had more wins than Moorhead. Moorhead loved the community, Mullen hated it and worked year after year to leave. Moorhead was the better recruiter. Better person.

Moorhead did things in the community with no media attention wanted.

Congrats?
i was pointing out the fact that for nearly a four year recruiting cycles worth, MS talent has been at least on the same level as Alabama’s. Therefore disproving op’s statement. But thanks for not reading the rest of my reply.

SEC football is about down south recruiting. Mississippi State is routinely 10 spots higher in rankings over Mizzou. MSU is also a SEC charter member with a SEC tradition, Mizzou does not.

Arkansas is talent poor and also not a charter SEC member.

I would say Arkansas is the worst job with Mizzou 2nd as far as SEC jobs go. Mizzou would be a top 5-6 job in the Big 10.
