Its like every major program in the country. I know Auburn has shady boosters who are too close to the program. Texas fans should never speak about other programs. Their super national championship losing QB's girlfriend admitted on national television that boosters pay players at Texas.

Like they say, "everything's bigger in Texas" - so are the powerful boosters.

I notice a distinct desire for AU posters to claim "everybody cheats".

shady boosters close to the program = cheating? All I meant was boosters who are hanging around the program too much. FTR though hundred dollar handshakes occur at every school. IDGAF what you think about your beloved football program, there isn't a damn thing one can do about boosters like this. Anyway it may be on youtube, but I remember sportsnation interview Colt McCoy's gf/wife and she blatantly said football players get paid hundred dollar handshakes and there is nothing anyone can do about it.

Wow, when did this happen?

She said it on an interview with cowherd. Mentioned cars, meals, hunting and fishing trips, etc

Indeed.
Based on the post, one would doubt he thinks at all.

im tired of these stupid discussions....ALL SEC TEAMS ARE DIRTY TO SOME EXTENT....just like the most of the other FBS teams...some just get caught more than others.

The whole SEC is seen as dirty by anyone not in the southeast.

All of college football is dirty.

I think every program in the SEC except Vandy is dirty. I choose not to let it bother me too much although I don't like it.

Every program but your own is a dirty program.

Your own program is as pure as the driven snow.

Oh, and it has been proven by the use of a 13-month NCAA colonoscopy that Auburn *IS* as pure as the driven snow.

and FTR, i think our program is as dirty as everybody else..you cant get ahead in college football if you dont cheat alittle...plain and simple..
and auburn fans shouldnt throw stones..AT ANYONE..ever..

the way it works:

the more money a school makes for media outlets = the less dirty the program is

lsu brings in a ton of revenue so the media will never try to kill that cash cow. to answer your question: all major programs cheat, including lsu, but lsu is not perceived as a dirty program because the media does not target lsu as such.
