Care to explain how this translates to being top 5 worthy as a head coach?

the ability to recruit is his strongest asset

it boosts his ranking
1. Nick Saban, Bama - Legend
2. Urban Meyer, aOSU - Legend
3. Chris Peterson, BSU - Overachiever
4. Bob Stoops, OU - Elite but can't win when it counts
5. Lane Kiffen, USC - Emerging Elite
6. Bill Snyder, KSU - Most Veteran
7. Chip Kelly, UO - Innovator
8. Mike Gundy, Okie Lite - Emerging Elite
9. Steve Spurrier, USCe - Veteran
10. Kyle Whittingham, Utah - deserved a mention

EVERYBODY is disrespecting how good the patriots o-line is. they might be the best pass blocking group in the league and i'm willing to bet they're pissed at the lack of respect they're being given

ridiculous

it's les miles that deserves criticism for keeping JJ in the game

what do you expect from an average QB going against a semi-professional defense?
USC started the season like an unranked 6-6 team and finished the season playing like a top 3 team.

The Trojans had a crazy amount of freshman and sophomore starters, and once they adapted to college play the team grew tremendously.

I would rank LSU #1, but USC does deserve consideration for a preseason #2.

The Achilles heel of the team is lack of depth across the board, being that scholarship limitations will be taking effect this season. If USC can keep healthy then they will probably have the most dangerous offense in the country.

The defense, however, loses basically its entire d-line, so how the new starters will perform is yet to be seen.

that fricker is hated among USC fans
probably won't pronounce the names correctly :booboo:
jesus the stanford coach is a fricking idiot

he has 1:30 to go on the 25 yard line with 3 timeouts and one of the greatest college quarterbacks of all time and he chooses not to go for the killshot and puts a freshman kicker out there to secure the win

incredibly stupid. coach of the year my arse

If the GB Packers were to play in the NCAA and they go 0-12 they don't deserve to play in the title game because they're the "best" team.

In collegiate athletics you earn your way to the title game - it's about achievement, not potential.

Hopefully they get their arse handed to them by LSU again.
While I don't like Pryor, he carried a declining program on his own... Tressel was holding OSU back, and Pryor was holding OSU up just enough to win the Big 10 just about every year.

But with the crew Meyer will be bringing into Columbus, Miller will most likely finish with a more statistically impressive career.

No more timid, cowardly playcalling by Tressel; Meyer will actually utilize the talent OSU has.

Should be fun to see
those people from "The Hills Have Eyes" go to ASU

USC played some of the best football in the country down the stretch

at the beginning of the season, one could call USC a glorified high school team considering how many freshman starters they had

the progression these young players made throughout the season is a remarkable thing - most likely they will be a very dangerous team next year

if the green bay packers are in the SEC East and go 0-12 in conference play do they deserve a spot just because they are the best team in the nation? no

collegiate football is about EARNING your way to the national title. oklahoma state got fricked over and alabama fans if you disagree, you're wrong. enjoy your homerism

oh and stop reading here because ESPN's dick is getting a little dry - get back to work

takes a lot to climb all the way to the top of the mountain, only to have the powers that be push you off the cliff
