We all get that they’re playing great, fundamental defense right now. But the question is are they really playing the more capable “wide open” offensive schemes that people are implying when they say this?
Kentucky, Arkansas and Auburn aren’t exactly “modern offensive juggernauts,” nor do they really strike fear in the heart of defenses.

Rat Poison
You can't compare a half season of stats to previous whole season of stats. let's get through the season vs Florida, Tennessee, Mizzou (lol), Georgia Tech (eh) and the SECCG before we start mashing numbers together.

KJ Jefferson has looked good against everyone else and Briles has been heralded as one of the most innovative play callers in the country.

Fair point although UK has scores of 28, 42, 35, in games this year. Plus UGA won’t face any great offense until they get to the SECCG and that’s if Bama makes it (which I think most people think will happen). The best they will face before them is Tenne-freaking-see. Then who’s gonna get them in the playoffs? Ohio State? Not gonna happen. Oklahoma? Nah. CINCINATTI? Nope.

That’s why I said “so far”. Schematically they have faced modern style attacks, Arkansas has scored plenty and runs a spread system, Auburn has scored a lot of points this year and Clemson is a highly talented spread team as well regardless of being down this season.

Losing on the last play is getting blasted? Auburn logic.

This is the season that Kirby breaks the Saban jinx.

Running that offense without the wealth of skill players that make it so efficient isn't saying much. UK's receivers don't scare anyone.

Scary or not they’re 6-1 with the only loss coming vs UGAs D

Famous last words for $200 Alec.
I will leave this here, Clemson has scored 20 points twice all year, twice.
Bryce will put up 30, doubt UGA can.

LOL! We can do a ban bet on that one. That is if Bammer actually makes it to the SECC?

Your are clueless 92 Alabama was better than both.

Alabama gave up 21 to Georgia Southern , 14 to Auburn and 14 to Arkansas
Bama's defense gave up 0 points to Auburn that year. Auburn had a kickoff return for a TD and fumble return for a TD. Georgia Southern only scored 14 on the defense, 7 points were on a kickoff return for a TD.
Arkansas did score 14 points, but they were an 11-2 team that only lost to the two teams playing in thr NCG.

Bennet was ineffective against a weaker defensive group than this year. JT not looking like a game changer at the position.
Where are the points going to come from?

You are confusing modern with spread.

You said Young would score 30 on Georgia. Bennet doesn’t play defense.
Bama’s defense was much better last year.
